May I say that I really appreciate you talking about the different ways in which black and white women are treated. I went to a multicultural school and also had parents who didn’t see colour but judged on character. I think everyone has to keep historical context in mind. In the 20s unfortunately racism was blatant. I have watched stuff about the movement and their first goal was to get voting rights for white women because unfortunately the white men in power wouldn't have accepted anything more.
