The Rocket City Marathon takes place during the holiday season in Huntsville and our favorite free thing to do was the Tinsel Trail. Seeing it at night was beautiful and it was a perfect place to explore while spectating for the marathon and other races because the runners go right through this area. Over 400 trees can be seen, they are sponsored by different organizations, and all showcase amazing creativity. The highlight of the night was seeing Santa and getting delicious beignets with Cafe Au Lait at a food truck.
