As part of our runcation for the Rocket City Marathon Weekend we had to see the Space and Rocket Center where Space Camp is held. This is one of the best museums I have been to and well worth the price. Plan to spend at least 4 hours or more and if you have mobility concerns rent the scooters as it made a world of difference for my parents. Seeing the Saturn V was epic beyond words but the highlights were meeting retired astronauts and learning their history plus Ryan living out a dream of taking a spin on the multi axis trainer. There is a cafe to grab food but we didn't eat there. For those that did the race it travels the course runs through the outside area we show in detail. A highlight of our trip for sure and perfect for a rainy day in Huntsville, Alabama.
