We’ve had that same tiller for years and it is a beast. Never failed to start and always does our huge garden every year with out fail. Funny thing is one of our tires has a slow leak and I always have to seat the bead at the start of the season just like that one. Thanks for the videos.
Damn, brother, got 2 for the price of one today!! Great tip about the main jet swap, but I also learned about partially blocking off the intake to see if choking helps and if that isn’t it then it’s the reverse and it’s getting to MUCH fuel! Totally logical but something I never thought about before. Thanks!
I wonder what the difference in orifice size might be. I’d be sticking different sized drill bits or wires in there to see. Just my curiosity to learn as much as possible. I’m guessing not much more than 3-5 thousandths. This is the first time I’ve seen this issue where the jet was oversized. All the other ones I’ve seen described the jet had to be reamed out a bit.
Yea, usually if the jet is the wrong size it’s too small. It is kind of odd to find one too big but with aftermarket carburetors you never know what you’re gonna get. Using the old jet usually takes care of it.
