I gladly wish that you would absolutely come back to Canada one day Im looking at back into uncles club in the South Side Edmonton I haven't seem you train in years good seeing you again bud
Can't believed Kali evolve into such an effective combat art. What I mean is that there are so many combat arts around the world and is advertise more than Kali so I expected that this will be below or just can't keep up, but here it is number one in the military use.
Respectable work. But what happens if an opponent has a tactical strap on his weapon? Or are his body parts protected by a ballistic vest? Did you count on this model sieve as well?
For the people in the comments, these exercises are more for testing how fast and precise you can go without breaking and familiarity with unorthodox weapons (hence shovel and pick). If you are looking for a realistic application for this exercise then let me give one. In a fight, if you can’t keep up with how fast your opponents punch/kick, then you get hit. If you lack precision in you strikes, then your opponents will find your mistake and exploit it. And for the people that talk about: “Just shoot them with a gun” you aren’t thinking deep enough. In an urban environment, there are civilians around you, “Pull a gun and shoot” will result in a mass panic and a likely chance of injuring a civilian. The argument above will apply to most situations. (I may be wrong since this is just an observation with a little bit of experience)
Is this only for the pro's or is this also given to those who fullfill their mandatory 2 years of service? Because if it's for everyone than Korea has a lot of fighting machines running around.
everyone here talking about the good movement but i'm over here admiring the camera operator trying their best to make the close up shots look like a action film
I started tkd when I was 9. Became an assistant instructor by 15. 3rd Dan by 22. This is not tkd. This is adoption of escrima kali Krav Maga techniques.
Don't be fooled. TKDD stands for something else. 특공 무술 direct translation is Commando Martial Arts. Some techniques could be linked but from my understanding it's just army self defense that they've been incorporating since the 80's and early 90's. In other words, it could be linked to any and all martial arts promoting basic self defense.
@@TheSublimeLifestyle perhaps but just because Tae Kwon Do doesn't teach you how to streetfight doesn't mean there's no utility in what they teach. Especially for kids. It gives them confidence, discipline, respect, courtesy, not being a quitter, more athletic, coordination, a sense of belonging, social networks and accreditation. You know how many kids are at home playing on their iPads eating chocolate, candy and potato chips. Everything is relative. Sure if you get older and want to know how to fight. Picking up Wrestling in high school and some Boxing outside of school will greatly help with defending yourself. But like I said before in terms of education I see the value and utility in Tae Kwon Do. Plus it gets my kid involved early in some type of athletics. So it depends how you perceive things.
Christian Jardin I took TKD as a child I understand. Which is why I say, we have one of the worst TKD cultures on Earth in America. I switched to Kyokushin after one year and learned more in two months than I did a year in TKD.
@@TheSublimeLifestyle that's because Kyokushin is geared for adults. You have to mentally prepare to take a beating. Because that's what Kyokushin is like. Now ask yourself? How many kids enjoy getting beat up? C'mon, you have a brain, use it. The devil's in the details lmaol
awesome dedication and immense skill, but is only introduced when up close and personal, now we are trained never to let that happen, lets see these boys disarm a 5.56 center mass
you're in A CQB situation your one partner was just taken out and you still have rooms to clear. you slowly enter one room, clear right opposite of door, enemy kicks door into your back (blindside) he is now upon you with knife. your distance advantage is now lost. dont just train for one occasion or you will be like all those other people who lose all their plans once they get punched in the face or get their primary shooting hand slashed by a karambit
@@sirashley2355 firstly you wouldnt be anywhere near the door, once the rooms been sectioned then you move on through the already covered door :D, brits scan rather than the US burst in method and thankfully we dont tend to use silly little indonesian knifes either so am willing to bet a fairbairn would be more of an advantage
@@annatsukiya It's Obviously Kali. Korean Special forces uses it as their main martial arts, because of U.S. influence as U.S. SEAL and their military using it as their main.
People forget that Korean martial arts traditions went back nearly 2000 years and included weapons such as knives. And if you think about it certain ideas like vital points to cut or stab, angles of attack, and human range of motion are universally common, so you will see overlapping principles and techniques in differing styles even separated geographically.
You are wrong. except korean bows and wrestling , Most of Korean martial arts is made after japanese martial arts after ww2. For example hawarangdo has no any real record as martial arts. Tekkyon is just foot stamping game. There is no historical records on the swordsmanship of Balhae kingdom. Haedong Gumdo’s origin is 1987 made from kenjutsu. Kenjitsu and jujutsu is originated in japan. Karate is originated in okinawa and its rooted in china. And now, this TKDD weapon art is just exactly the copy of KALI which is Philippine traditional martial arts. Korean put "Teakwondo" everything after they copied and make it sound like Korean original thing.
@@Emphasis213 yeah because a guy that wants to stab you is just going to hold a knife in plane view in his hand for you to see from 30 feet away because that makes sense. This whole video is idiotic, including this convo.
