Not many of them come through my shop. We put a carrier bearing on one about two weeks ago that I should have made a video on, but there are some video's on that on youtube allready, and I didn't really have anything new or original to show.
Great attitude bro! Thanks for the demonstration. It was helpful. But I have to digress! This is hands down the WORST design for a fuel filter I have ever worked on... and your video just helped prove it! The "nicely designed filter handle" BROKE -even though it was a "high quality Mann filter"! It doesn't work! Also watch out for the center mount coming right out with the filter. It is a pain to get lined up and snapped back into place with the big spring underneath. What ever you do, DO NOT try to force this filter and center mount back down in there by screwing on the lid! You'll be buying the mount and the filter all over again or worse! Enjoyed the positive comments though... made for a good laugh!
I think the in tank filter in the sender unit is about 100 microns. If there is any sub 100 micron dirt then some should drop out in the bottom of the canister. I like the suction tube method! Saves taking off the canister.
