Toby Keith is an amazing man who will be greatly missed. He went on 11 tours overseas singing to the military. He also started a hospital in Oklahoma, where he’s from, that helps children with cancer, and their families can stay with them for free while they’re getting treatment. He also called and talked to many fans on the phone or visited them in the hospital if they couldn’t make a concert. He was an excellent song writer. I grew up listening to country music, so I know most of his songs. If you listen to country music, you definitely know who Toby Keith is. There are also a couple of Toby Keith restaurants in Oklahoma.
Love Toby, he's everywhere with his music, funny, patriotic, love, even can make you think! So hoping to get some good news on his health, know he's in a fight for his life, God bless ya Toby, get back to giving everyone hell soon, we need you.
This song is not about buying American stuff. Its about being made in America as an American. His dad fought in the army and like the song "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue", its a tribute to his dad and how proud he was of his dad who had given him the right to be free.
I'd like to recommend his song "How Do Like Me Now!" He's getting revenge on a Nasty, Bitchy, Popular Girl whom he had a crush on in High School. She was mean to him, so he came back to let her know how well he's doing. I have a Potential Boyfriend who's Liked (Fancied) Me since we were in our early 20's. We've known each other since our teens, but I've never deliberately said or done something to hurt him. He just got stuck in my Friend Zone for well over a decade. He was always a somewhat Shy, Quiet, Geek of a Gentleman and I'm a Firery Kooky Lady I just couldn't see how things could work for us before. He happens to be a Computer Geek with His own small IT business. I can't quite see him as being highly successful with Girls in High School. But pretty much from day one of High School I always had Boys chasing me. Not that I'm vain, I happen to have Self-image and Self-esteem Issues. Mum and I left My Abusive Father 6 months before I started High School. I didn't have to try Attracting them I was raised to be a Lady who was Good to Everyone. With Olive Skin, Long Legs and a Girl I went to school with who did Modelling told Me I had the face for it. She knew what she was talking about. She graduated with a Modelling Contract with the same Agency as Naomi Campbell. Boys started noticing Me when I was 7 and I had my first Boyfriend at 9. On my second day of High School which started in grade 8 at the time a Boy in grade 11 Wolf Whistled Me. But was the victim of Mean Girls at one stage. I'll start another comment.

It's awesome &he has some hilarious songs/videos too, like 'As good as I once was' or 'How do you like me now?'. He even makes funny videos for serious songs, like 'It's a little too late'. He also has a duet with Willie Nelson & the video is like a mini movie called 'Beer for my horses'. Dive in, you will love him.
Back to the story about my Potential Boyfriend. I danced with Him once at a party. Then a group of Young Men who were Worse Gossips Than Old to Him I Liked Him, when I didn't that way. His Mum said She'd never seen him the way he was when he went home that night. The next time we saw each other He sat next to Me and gave me an expectant look on His face. When I didn't respond the way He thought I would, it was my turn to be confused. He told Me "You're Too Changeable For Me!", I didn't know what he'd been told about Me. I certainly didn't mean to hurt him. I used to think He could bore for The Olympics, but over the years I realised He wasn't that bad. Then a few years back the attraction became mutual. We found out in a typical Aussie Style. He Checked Me Out, I turned my face away as if to say "Why thank you, kind sir!" Then I Checked Him Out and watched him Light Up Like A Christmas Tree. I've never seen him so excited. Unfortunately He had some fears to concur first. Mainly about his being a Certified Genius and having the difficulties knowing what to say and do, that goes with it. He'd managed to deal with one of his fears that was holding him back before Covid. But we haven't seen each other since, I'll be seeing him in the new year though. He lives about an hours drive away, but didn't want to run the risk of making him uncomfortable by chasing him. But He's Liked Me too long for me to think I'll have lost Him.

@@csconnie1 Same here and I'm from CA! We fill sports arenas, stadiums, etc. for our beloved country singers! I guess Californians never got the memo that country music was just a "southern" thing. I guess the commentor doesn't know that CA has more farm/ranch/rural land than any southern state unless you include Texas which many claim is not a true southern state. Live stock & cattle are a major industry in the state. And, there were more than 157 rodeos held from one end of the state to the other in 2022. We also have our share of country music festivals. We have plenty of country folks & cowboys in CA. Just need to get out of the large cities. There are also plenty of city/suburb folks that love country music too. Ditto the dem friends, lol.
