A Tomahawk "Cowboy" Ribeye steak on the Traeger Pellet Smoker ...Finally!
This is a Frenched Beef Ribeye thickset Steak. I smoked the Ribeye to a Medium Rare temperature using my Traeger Smoker (using a Hickory flavored pellet), sear it on a hot flame with my propane BBQ, cover up and let rest for maximum quality & taste.
I highly recommend you pre-season your steak with whatever you like best, and then baste the beef with a garlic butter mixture during the cook.
This is not a How To cook a Tomahawk Ribeye Steak, its just how I decided to do it.
This did not disappoint!
This cut of beef can feed up to 5 people!
I will certainly be doing another Tomahawk Ribeye Cowboy Steak in the very near future.
I hope you enjoy the video.
Let me know in the comments how you prep and cook a Tomahawk steak.
