As a long time tomb raider fan, this is amazing! I agree with some people below: there's just some kind of spark about the PSX-Sega Saturn TR games that just calls out to you more than the action modernized ones. Im very retro. 😊 Out of the mondern ones, i have to say the Legend series are my favorites, it was the last of the TR games Toby Gard actually ever worked on. Maybe that's why they were so fun.

Great video! This kinda saddens me, I should be happy the franchize is still alive, but I miss the old game, they had a certain charm and magic to them that just hasnt returned. The new games are great in their own merit, and I love them, but as Tomb Raider games, I wouldnt say they're the best, I miss the good old focus on exploration the series had.... as time went on it just became about the action, with an ocassional simple puzzle thrown in there in front of you.

tomb raider II was my introduction to tomb raider in the 90's from PlayStation magazine back in the day when it ship with the demos. favorite moments in classic tomb raider Tr 3 the beginning level when u have to slide down on a hill while avoiding spikes and holes, my childhood memories is from two when u have to activate a switch to open the gate switch open the gate to the boat and then the guy with the shotgun comes out that part always stuck with me bcuz of how rememberable it was and how hard it was to clear that level the violin theme is still iconic. damn i love that game.

My favorite Tomb Raider memory is in the first game, walking out into that big open area, & then BAM! Giant T-Rex comes out of nowhere & scares my socks off.

Aaah, I miss the old Tomb Raiders. :D The memories... The T-Rex, Pierre, Midas' hand, the pyramid, oh, and the UZIS!!! :D I always used to love the Uzis when I played the classic Tomb Raiders as a kid. :) *My memories: (Contains Spoilers)* Then after Tomb Raider 1, there was Tomb Raider 2, which had more weapons, more moves, different locations, and the dragon at the end, oh, and that Floating Islands level, which always used to scare me. xD Tomb Raider 3, which I never really got that far into as a kid, because of how hard it was when you got to the Temple Ruins level, but years later, I did get further, and also saw the rest of the game through walkthroughs. Tomb Raider 4, which I had even more memories of, with Von Croy during the flashback / angkor wat levels, and The Tomb of Seth level, and I'll always remember being stuck on that fire puzzle, with the tiles, to get The Sands of Time. :) Tomb Raider 5, was another one I had a lot of memories with: the Rome levels, the Russian Base levels, the Ireland levels, and the VCI Levels, which I always remembered seeing on the title screen demos. :D Tomb Raider 6 / Angel of Darkness: Was actually what I got when I first had my PS2, I remember it being the only game I had when I got my PS2, and getting to the Parisian Ghetto level after the 1st day of having it, and getting a few others games occasionally. Tomb Raider 7 / Legend: I remember originally playing this on one of my dad's computers when I was much younger, and finishing it pretty quickly, compared to the other Tomb Raiders... I remember being stuck on the England level for a while, trying to figure out one of the puzzles, before the fight with the sea serpent. I later got this on the PS2, so that I could play it more easily with the PS2's controller, rather than mouse and keyboard, but also so that the game didn't lag as much. :) Tomb Raider 8 / Anniversary: I loved this game as a kid, it was like Tomb Raider 1 all over again, but almost like I was playing it for the first time again. It was another game I got on my PS2, and I used to love the game a lot with the stunning graphics. I also thought the secrets and the unlockable outfits gave the game a nice replay value. :D Tomb Raider 9 / Underworld: I didn't get very far in this one, I got stuck on the 2nd level, but years later, I finally saw someone do a let's play of it. I remember getting it on the PS2, and being pretty excited about it. Tomb Raider 10 / Tomb Raider 2013: I thought it was a nice twist with all of the new gameplay, and the ability to upgrade your weapons and gear. The story was also interesting, but the game could get glitchy now and then. I had this on the Xbox 360. Tomb Raider 11 / Rise of The Tomb Raider: Finished this one recently, and was ok; it had a few improvements over Tomb Raider 2013, such as being able to heal now, and also make ammo while you're moving around. There was also a bit more variety to the weapons, too, and I was quite happy with the game, though, like Tomb Raider 2013, it can still be glitchy occasionally, with jumps and ledge grabs not registering properly. I also had this one on the Xbox 360. I used to play Tomb Raider 1 all the way to 5 on my PS1, but now I have them all for PC. :) The memories... I can't believe how quick it went. :'( I can't believe Tomb Raider is one year older than me (I was born in 1997.) :)

As a kid I always got frustrated with this game and its mechanics and It was in the 20th anniversary when i decided to give the original series a second chance. I started with the first game and i fell in love instantly with it. I beated 1, 2, 3, chronicles and at the moment i,m playing last revelation. My favorite gaming franchise Definetely!
