@@callmepistol Well, he isn't subscribing to Rudy Giuliani on youtube or running around comment sections trying to defend Tallarico's scam with inane and defensive responses. So, more than you I'm guessing.
@@callmepistol Whatever I do with my life, at least I don't lie about most of my achievements like Tommy has. Context: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0twDETh6QaI.html&ab_channel=hbomberguy
It's crazy how this guy went from this legend I used to hear my nerdier friends talk about, a guy that seemed to be beloved by many, to a complete hack that turned out to have made the whole thing up. This guy is the definition of fake it till you make it, then keep faking it and falling over yourself until you land right back at square one. The wolf of video game land. Catch him if you can.
No I dont think hes the definition of “fake it”. He more than likely got in over his head with the console he was trying to launch and got pulled apart. His soundtracks on the games he worked on is top class and timeless.
I still remember 007-tomorrow never dies on ps1 sountrack. Graphics get old but soundstracks are always the same. Wild 9 bombopolis was also unforgetable. Theis songs together with metal gear bso are for me the best
Oh my god, ahaha! "Possessed Guild Armor" from Evil Dead: Hail to the King is playing at 4:06. Which he composed of course. I love that entire soundtrack.
I cannot for the life of me remember a single song from ANY of his soundtracks. I know he's done many games, but his sound is just THAT generic/unmemorable.
He didn't really do most of the work anyway going by some of the research people did on him. The one OST that does come to mind to me though is the Spider-Man game on PS1, mainly because it was actually pretty unique for a Spidey game and fit the tone of what they were going for.
- which makes his fall from grace all the more unfortunate. If only he hadn't ruined his own legacy and good will with that Intellivision Amico crap. ☹️
Damn, I swear I have watched him for 8 years, and I did not know he was rich. I literally found out about three days ago, when he was on that show with Joan Rivers.
wow I never knew he had this much money, its cool he decks his house in his style and doesn't just buy whatever the fad of the day is in home decorating
I forgot all about Tommy. Used to watch him on G4. Didn't really know he had such a big role in videogames. This was a cool video. He seems like a really cool guy.
So funny watching this today knowing Tommy literally lied his way to fortune. Decent businessman maybe, at least back then, but did he ever actually compose anything himself?
Tommy is a genius. Anyone who doesn't believe this needs to listen to the Demolition Man theme on the Genesis cartridge. It's a hard rockin' classic straight out of 1995. He was a complete wiz and master of the Genesis' sound chip.
Tommy Tallarico is only credited in the 1994 3DO FMV version of the game, which has a different soundtrack. Given what we now know about Tommy Tallarico's lies about the games he's worked on, it was likely actually the work of his employee, Joey Kuras, who lists both versions of the game on his resume. Nathan Grigg is the credited composer for the 1995 version of the game, so it's him you should be calling a genius. Tommy Tallarico is not credited for the 1995 SNES, Genesis or Sega CD versions of the game.
@@12ealDealOfficial Ok. But he wasn't the composer, that was Nathan Grigg. Orca Games was the company responsible for the music, Tommy got special thanks. It's clearly not his work. He's a known liar and most of his credits actually belong to Joey Kuras.
All of the glowing comments as to Tommy's character make me wonder how many either supported the Amico or are blissfully unaware. Also, that Amazing Fantasy 15 is probably the reprint that came with the Spider-Man figure in the Marvel Legends Sentinel BAF wave. NO WAY is it NOT in a case. You don't just throw something like that in a bag and board.
He sounds and looks like those guys from jersey shore... the difference is that he's such a sophisticated person, intelligent and simply cool :) A really good role model!
@@gmti486 I've just checked out the whole Intellivision Amico case because I haven't been following the game industry news for a while. As far as I understand, Tommy Tallarico was involved into some sort of scam, right?
Watch a Robocop Vs. Terminator (not as cheesy as that sounds) video set to Tommy Tallarico's (bitching!) Future Shock from the Terminator Sega CD game's soundtrack here: @
What he's done in the music industry has nothing to do with the kind of person he is so don't go assuming he's a douche just because he criticized a game for a bad reason. It's just a game.
He's one of those guys who you can plainly tell are really dedicated to their hobbies and really eccentric, but considering he's made such amazing soundtracks I can't feel weirded out by him at all, I rather admire what he's achieved
