When Nikki and Tony started talking about just letting thoughts and words pass through their consciousness without trying to hold on to them, by just letting them go, I immediately thought "insight meditation!". I mean, the way they described what they do is almost a classic description of what happens when one practices insight meditation, which is also the classic form of Buddhist meditation, the form taught by the Buddha himself. And when Nikki said something like "We aren't our thoughts", I damn-near jumped up and yelled "Yes!" Jeez, I never thought that this show could get so ... deep. And still be funny. How weird is that? Grins, JT
