I've found a small jet lighter (the windproof kind used to light cigars) allows for similar fixes to what the hot air soldering station can provide. They're cheap, provide a tight level of control and don't cause sooting issues like a normal lighter. I use one on almost every print, from PLA to ASA.

For working on 3D printers, a good set of quality tools is essential. I use both the iFixit Mako set and a set of Wera Kraftorm Micro hex and Philips drivers. My printers came with scrapers, but I've been using a painter's spatula and palette knife set. They are super flexible and can by found at any art and craft store.

I can attest your pronounciation of Knipex is correct. That spatula works because it gained a soul over the years ;) Good idea using a chisel! I'd call it a coarse file. I too use a jet lighter for string removal when the electronics heat gun is too far away. I use a water cooled belt grinder (usually used for knivemaking) that works well if you don't go too aggressive. But also a rotary tool with variable speed and carbide cutters, need cooling too though. Anything else you got coverd. Good video!

looks like you need a plastic welding kit (soldering iron with some fancy tips and different plastic fill materials) to replace that 3d pen.....if you never liquidize the parent material, you will never get plastic to structurally bond with plastic without an intermediary.
