Top 10 Cards Which Would Break Duel Links (YuGiOh) 

Same here. I stopped playing tcg because it didn’t felt like the original YuGiOh we all played on our childhood. Everything became fast paced and easily end duels on turn 2 or 3, where one card can net you a overpowered monster with protection and or negation. I could go on but I’d get bored. Anyways, everyone should try duel links, it’s a different focus and remind us of th old yugioh that engaged us on the first place.

Pétros Heimirich, little kuriboh got me back in, but duel links keeps me coming.... when the character unlock events come out

@@unnesflash4917 nope. Those who played real TCG spend more money than those who plays Duel Link. Real YGO cards are expensive. Duel Link is like waaaaaaay cheaper than real TCG. The only people complaining that Duel Link is P2W are either those who play pirated YGO cards or those who never play real YGO in the first place.

effect veiler is monster effect negation not spell and traps. Darklords are a better example, the reason why they were so broken for such a long time is because the had 2 or more monster negates per turn.

Tower of Babel which has the effect of every time a spell card is activated it gets a counter and when I think around four counters are on it you can sacrifice it to deal 3000 burn to you opponent and it doesn't matter who activated the spell cards

They added Invoked Cocytus which is a more annoying Beelze (can be destroyed by battle though but isnt targetable). Liberty at last and lots of bounce cards(Im noticing Konami adding a new bounce monster in every new box) wouldn’t make that card broken.

Econ take it and OTK. Canadia and destroy it with card effect while facedown since it's effect won't be active. Good ol' Lava Golem. Amazoness Swords Woman. D.D Assailant D.D Warrior HTS Psyhemuth. Samurai Destroyer with Beatdown. Drowning Mirror Force. Monster with at least 2600 ATK with Power of the Guardians equipped to burn your opponent 500 LP at a time. World Legacy Clash for game if their LP are already low. Forbidden Chalice. Almost zero generic removal to get rid of it? Are you sure? Some are better than other depending of the deck, but all can be splashed in any deck. That's why Cocytus is annoying, he can't be targeted and can attack in defense position.

Dusty Bowl you’re looking at all of this in a vacuum ignoring the other player’s set up and assuming that you’ll always have any of these cards ready, just because it’s there doesn’t mean it will be effective, because by that logic literally every piece of removal is good against Beelze, Beelze is known in the TCG for being quite the formidable boss monster, not to mention that like half the cards you mentioned are barely played anymore, Swordswoman is barely a threat anymore and it’s not even an out to Beelze, it’s just an annoyance, my comment still stands

The difference is that Emerald Tortoise has another effect, being it's crystal beast effect, Leo would just become a normal monster

Those cards aren't crystal beast emerald tortoise though. Just because they have the capability to change a card doesn't mean they will and emerald tortoise had numerous potential reasons to be added to duel links.

The point is that they changed his effect to better fit the game, if they did it with him they can do it with Leo and Scapegoat

Dark Star Gaming Yes they have the ability to do so, (I'm not sure why they wouldn't) that doesn't mean they will nor does emerald tortoise really set much of a precedent for cards that don't have what it had going for it. (And afaik Leo really doesn't, scapegoat is closer but does have other similar/related cards to fill the void)

And here I say... no. Master of Destiny’s condition of needing 5 different card names with coinflip effects stops any kind of FTK consistent even if you were to guarantee opening CoA every Duel. People play EMPRESS JUDGE and TIME WIZARD to pad out that number and meet the condition. Also, using Master of Destiny means forgoing skills that would actually unbrick your hand, such as Spell Specialist for 20 card decks or Restart for 30 card Grass decks. Also, burn FTK IS a thing in this deck, it’s just not consistent and relies on you going first - using 2x Ceruli to trigger Elephant Statues of Disaster. Any burn FTK with legitimate power has been hit within a couple of weeks anyway (the new Banlist to limit Lady Lapis was dropped within DAYS of it becoming popular). Please stop fearmongering... it’s just showing off ignorance

@@SaintoftheHonest Actually theres a burn deck with master of destiny using fire princess combo with gierfried, but it's not see much play because, fire princess it's an exclusive card that was given as gift long time ago and not everyone have it.

@@parkouremaster The problem there is that the deck isn't seeing no play due to the card being hard to get. It's seeing no play due to how inconsistent it is. You only have one Fire Princess, four inherent bricks in the deck (the Arcana Force Cards), your main consistency being Magical Mallet (a -1) and Into The Void (only neutral) with no way to plus outside of CoA and the unreliable hard Once Per Turn in Cards from the Sky, the probability of this deck is that you'll have spent all your spells to get TO your single Big Bang Girl. This deck is incredibly inconsistent - I even humoured you and playtested twenty hands on Duelingbook's Solo Mode - every single one failed. And that's not bothering to include the skills such as LP Boost A or Grit that never go away and would make this LITERALLY impossible.

I got legit Dark World Cannon Soldier FTK'd (w/pot of ace) when I still played duel links

How many of those opponents scooping before you saw any of their cards were doing so because they had an FTK deck and couldn't make their hand work? Think about the answers to these questions.

I've been asking for Main Game cards that are bad in Duel Links since he did awesome DL cards that aren't very useful in the main game.

Now they sort of added Scapegoat into the game. They recently did a 2nd unlock event for DSOD Joey called Memories of a Friend. During this run, they added a new skill called Scapegoat for DSOD Joey. This skill allows you to summon 3 sheep token and it goes to your end phase (it’s a once per duel skill).

Well, it is an official, legal game that can be played on your mobile. I do wish they just put the effort into Duel Generation (another official but old mobile game) instead though

Not having to deal with xyz and up monsters, and the voice lines from the same voice actors from the anime makes it a much better experience.

@@motodog242 If you're really into that sort of stuff then just play any of the tag force games since they have story sequences fully voiced by the original cast. For tag force 6 and tag force special you'll need to use an emulator and a translated rom since for some reason these 2 are japanese exclusive. I played tag force 3, 5 and special, the only one I no longer own is 3, and fun fact I own tag force special on my android tablet. It was available in the play store for a bit and it's an extremely good port (which sadly for some goddamn reason is no longer available) which was made by utilising the mobile version of the ppsspp emulator which means we get the lovely speed up feature, save states and when it comes to the actual game, a 1 to 1 fully translated game with all the lines from the original voice actors in tact. However not all characters are voiced, only the story characters are voiced For DM it's Yugi, Kaiba, Jonouchi, Mai and Ishizu. For GX it's Judai, Asuka, Daichi, Manjuome and Rio. For 5ds it's Yusei, Jack, Crow, Aki and Kiryu. For ZEXAL it's Yuma, Kaito, Ryouga, Rio and Kotori and for ArcV it's Yuya, Yuzu, Gongenzaka Shingo and Sora. So yeah I didn't expect this to turn into a game review but I'm very proud to own this port. While it isn't the best ygo game out there (I think tag force 5 is better) it certainly holds value since the it's not available anymore on the play store which makes it historical in my opinion.

There was a skill for sartorius that literally let you play 14 card decks. Blue-eyes was literally tier 0 for a couple weeks before the skill got nerfed.
