I think Arthur is crazy strong. Imagine ripping an etali off the top that's tapped and attacking, or ripping a dockside and getting to recast it postcombat 😮
I have a lot of love for Gev. He's out by turn two because Im mulliganing any opening hand without more than the lands I'd need, and getting an Ill Gotten Inheritance on the field makes him a +3/+3 anthem for every lizard, of which theres a cool number. He's scalable on power level too, I don't generally run combos outside of finishing win con options, but you can combo off with him and burn an entire table for a whole really fast. Kastrel is probably favorite. My first deck was First Flight so Azorius birds sits in a special place in my heart.
@@kitcobb6046 played it a few times and it works great! You can get threats out early with him if you can load them into your graveyard, and even if you get set back by a boardwipe or even a bojuka bog, you have the backup plan of just having a lot of mana and late game threats
I was really hoping for a Bant Frog legend that could give all your creatures Evoke for like 1 or 2 less than their mana cost. Especially with all of the bounce synergy that exist in the uncommon & rare slots with Frog creatures. I'd love to have a deck that could evoke then bounce the same creature all while at instant speed. On a side note: If I did not own 3 Mono-Blue decks; I would definitely be building Eluge right now. The fact that it makes spells cost 1 less blue pip for each flood counter is amazing. Eluge with Displacer Kitten is an absolute menace. Keep casting spells and flickering Eluge... you can easily have flood counters on all your lands and make all your spells cheap.
Man all these multi-color, multi-ability commanders and my new Dragonhawk deck just does NOT have a tough time dealing upwards of 40 damage by turn 6-7 lmao
