Yes. Most of this average increase is driven by reducing deaths of young children and adolescents. It isn't that we have increased the life expectancy of a current 30yr old by 10years.

Israel has been in the top 10 male life expectancy for most of the timeframe of this video, but not female.

He probably programmed the graph then screen recorded it. This can also be made in Adobe After Effects. Flourish Studio has a template called the "bar chart race" which is this graph and probably the easiest way to make these. I also remember seeing a program in the Windows Store for making them.

I would wager that adult diet doesn't really effect this measure all that much. If all Americans suddenly stopped eating hamburgers, chips and take away they still wouldn't make the top 10. Maybe if they ate less sugar also but I still doubt even the best diet in the world would do it. They likely need universal healthcare, better education, less poverty resulting in less dead babies and children.

Liechtenstein has an extremely small population (~38k). With their death rate that's an average ~272 deaths per year. Some small changes can make a big impact.

A significant number of low development (poor) areas and a lack of quality healthcare for poor people keeps USA low on the list.

My guess is loads of healthy oils, vegetables and sun, and improvement of overall wealth. Also I've been to Greece a several times and they're mostly extremely chill (too chill sometimes) and happy. I wonder what the difference is between Norway and Sweden though.

Good healthcare, low murder rate and a good lifestyle/diet.

It all depends on healthy diet and happiness, While Mediterranean countries have a healthy diet, Northern Europe has happiness and todays happiness comes mostly with decent wealth and access to decent medicine. In Greece we can see the example of how these 2 contradict each other, while they got Healty food they can get up to 80 years, but without wealth, comes depression and low medicine consumption due to costs thus not being in the list permanently.

It makes non sense to take into consideration places with such a little population.

Not yet and I don't think they ever will, because they are receiving tones of migrants that keep eating their shitty traditional food and getting obese instead of the healthy Spanish diet and way of life.
