I'm going to be 100% honest, my least favorite one is the Dawnbreaker. it's like they NEEDED to have him be the only lantern left, but just made him absolutely OP. seriously, it doesn't make any sense that a SINGLE lantern ring could overpower dozens of others.
Personally, at least in origins, mine is Red Death. No way an old, tired, beaten Bruce Wayne should be able to not only land a sucker punch, but also _knock out_ the Flash cold with just said punch. And then he ties down Flash with chains even though he should be able to just phase through them by vibrating his arms and legs. Like... just have Bruce recreate Barry's experiment instead of knocking out and merging himself with Flash. That plays into Bruce's investigation abilities as a detective and has him create a method to gaining the speedforce using his smarts instead of just having him succeed through plot armor. Even keeping the merged consciousness angle, you could just have Batman gain the speedforce _and then_ merge himself and Flash to gain an even greater tie to the speedforce or whatever.
@@Jason_Altea while I do agree, I think it works as it shows just how unhinged he became in that dimension. though yeah, they did nerf the hell out of flash there it could be excused as well, his entire world is pretty much ending and he's fighting one of his oldest friends.
@@DBfan106 I think the reason I dislike his so much specifically is because Red Death is actually the one I feel has the most potential. Like, he most clearly wants to be a hero in some way despite being so super misguided in morals, and Batman with speedster powers has so much cool potential. But then his origin requires so much plot armor and Flash being dumb. Like, I get that almost anyone can let down their guard and all, but with Flash's reaction time, not dodging a sloppy sucker punch like that would be like seeing a dude charge you from across the room with a knife and just standing still the whole time.
The Grim Knight’s lines to the corrupt folk of Gotham are pretty epic. Though honestly, he should have turned down Batman who Laughs. Same with Red Death and Devestator. Vampire Batman…man, that just feels bad. He tried to do the right thing, but his boy Alfred didn’t finish him off
I’ve read the Dark Metal stuff so I was aware of that universe, but I never heard of Batman: the Broken. I love that concept so much! Azrael is a favorite too cuz 90s cheese is so cool to me.
I doubt it but are there any versions of peter parker and bruce wayne that get happy endings? I mean where they're legitimately allowed to be happy. Not some bs contrivance forcing them to suffer again. I highly doubt it but I'd love to be surprised.
