How can you miss CLYDE ‘the Glide’ DREXLER?? Well, most people do as he is probably the most underrated NBA player of all time. Drexler carried the small market Portland Trailblazers for over a decade, scored at will against future Hall of Fame players on this list. There are RU-vid videos that show his greatness in scoring and highlight dunks. Member of the Olympic DREAM TEAM, finally won an NBA championship with Hakeem after moving to the Houston Rockets to end his career! His career stats are amazing, probably second only to MJ as unstoppable scoring machine during the 90’s.

Reggie led his team to 5 ECF and an NBA finals in 2000. Pippen didn't make the CF without Jordan until 2000 when he joined the Blazers, but the Blazers made the WCF without him in 1999. Prime Allen Iverson was outplayed by 33-35 year old Reggie Miller in 3 straight playoffs from 1999-2001, including Iverson's MVP season. Iverson also had the superior defensive team each time. Iverson was better than Pippen so if Reggie consistently outplayed Iverson in the playoffs id take him over Pippen too. 1999 ECSF Reggie Miller (Age 33) 21.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.5 apg 48% FG - 40% 3PT - 91% FT Allen Iverson (Age 23) 28.8 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.8 apg 38% FG - 20% 3PT - 82% FT Iverson only scored more by taking almost 2x as many shots and 10% worse FG. Reggie shot a higher 3PT% than Iverson's FG% 2000 ECSF Reggie Miller (Age 34) 25.8 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 3.2 apg 52% FG - 47% 3PT - 96% FT Reggie was ejected and suspended in Game 4 and 5, the only 2 losses for the Pacers in this series. Reggie essentially swept Iverson 8-0 in back to back playoffs when playing a full game Allen Iverson (Age 24) 26.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 4.0 apg 38% FG - 23% 3PT - 81% FT Even with Reggie's ejection bringing his numbers down, he clearly outplayed Iverson by shooting 14% higher FG and his 3PT% was 9% higher than Iverson's FG% 2001 1st Round Reggie Miller (Age 35) 31.3 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 2.5 apg 46% FG - 43% 3PT - 93% FT Allen Iverson (Age 25, MVP) 31.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 6.5 apg 41% FG - 26% 3PT - 79% FT Reggie again shot a higher 3PT% than Iverson's FG%. Reggie was insanely more efficient than Iverson every time they played, and that's the main reason he outplayed him all 3 times. 1999, 2000, 2001 Playoffs combined Reggie Miller (40.5 mpg) 26.2 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.1 apg 49% FG - 44% 3PT - 93% FT Allen Iverson (45.2 mpg) 27.9 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 4.9 apg 39% FG - 21% 3PT - 79% FT Reggie shot 10% higher FG, and his 3PT% was 5% higher than Iverson's FG%. And again, the Sixers were the better defensive team each time, but Reggie put up better and much more efficient numbers

How could you all leave out Clyde the Glide Drexler? ?? he let Portland to the big dance twice as being its franchise player. and he also helped Hakeem Olajuwon to win a ring. and prior to their first game in the NBA Finals with Portland versus Chicago they were quite a few games were Clyde the Glide either equaled or out played Michael Jordan. if Clyde wasn't that good Jordan would not have went so hard at him. l respect Reggie Miller the Knick killer but his statistics do not measure up to Clyde the Glide Drexler's . Scottie Pippen as great as he is didn't carry his team to the big dance as the headline player, But Clyde the Glide Drexler did. I wouldn't put John Stockton over Clyde the Glide Drexler either.

Reggie should not even be on this list. He is sitting in Clyde's spot. Reggie was more of a perimiter player dependent on screens to make shots. Clyde could do it all. How do you not have the 2nd best guard in the league on the list? Clyde is also the best open court player ever. Nobody could get a rebound and push the ball coast to coast like Clyde....and finish. its like he always finished.
@thepisceanlion4171

Kendrick Williams I disagree about having Reggie Miller removed from the list, but I can't argue with you about Clyde Drexler. One thing you neglected to mention is he's the only SG to play in the same era as Jordan and actually be considered by many for a short while of actually being superior to Jordan. It was a serious nba debate at a point in time in the 90's. Pretty crazy.

Honestly, I think Scottie Pippen is actually severely underrated for playing with Jordan, not the other way around. And you can't say "we all know who the real leader of that team was" when he literally played with the best player of all time. But that doesn't take away from Pippen's greatness, Scottie Pippen was much more than a sidekick. He was a second superstar on that team and along with Jordan is the reason why they won a championship.

Seriously I don’t think Pippen belongs on this list, even at #10. If asked about the 10 greatest defenders ever, I’ll put him in the list. But top 10 overall best players in the 90s? No. He was never an Alpha or all-around player and leader. For #10, I’ll take any of the following: Clyde Drexler, I’ll take Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Alonzo Mourning, Mitch Richmond, Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill, to name a few.

I agree that everyone on this list was good in the 90s regardless of their ranking. But I got issues with Clyde Drexler not being on this list. Especially since he led the Blazers to two finals and another conference finals in a ridiculously tough West. He also won a ring in 95. Pippen was not better than Drexler and Scottie will tell you that.

Payton was dominant on both sides of the ball in a way Miller wasn't and the only PG to win Defensive player of the year in the history of the NBA. He also held Michael Jordan to his lowest PPG in an NBA finals in 96. Miller was a legendary shooter, scrappy and persistent and hit some very memorable shots but that was about it. I would put Miller in the same category as I would put Alonzo Morning and Shawn Kemp, just outside the top ten. Better than Payton and Pippen? No way!
