Hi Maaike when I think jewel tones I think colour tbh. Amethyst is my birthstone and purple is a favourite, but when you look at semi precious stones the variety is endless almost. I really enjoy jewellery and have accumulated a fair amount over the years, but my taste isn’t for the classic pieces and instead runs to more unique handmade items. Many stones have a wide variety of tones from light to dark and that then makes many more shades “jewel tones”. Best wishes x
My first pick for jewel tone palettes is the same as yours ! Shroud Arcana ! My next picks from my collection : Juvia’s place Nubian 2 & Afrique, Persona Identity 2 , Dose of Colors Friendcation , and quite literal Colourpop Play it Jewel and the KL megapalette ( cannot recall name and I’m pre coffee) . The Adept Minka kind of gives some jewel vibes ( shades of diamonds in a museum ) and the Pat McGrath motherships 1-5 ( I have the Bad Habit dupes) . I would also consider tourmalines, jade, pearls opals ,including fire opals and padparasha sapphires as well as citrines for gemstones.
The Mini Bloom is so lovely, a shame it's not available anymore. I think of my Giant Wolves palette as a gem-toned palette, and I'm always drawn to jewel tones in a color story-- if a palette has a rich ruby, bright clear red or sapphire shade, I WANT it.
Love every look I’ve gotten out of the Metamorphic palette, but I find the shadows have no longevity! Such a shame because its the perfect everyday “colorful” palette.
