It makes a huge difference. I had small hands at only 5'5 and it takes way more skill to pull off those moves, holding it like a softball at biggest makes it a whole different ballgame.

Wilt's size and athleticism allowed him to dominate in a way that nobody has ever really seen. He scored 100 points once, 78 points another time. His career averages are 30.1 PPG, 22.9 RPG, 4.4 APG and who knows how many blocks? He had a season where he averaged 50.4 PPG! then followed it up with 44.8 the next year. People like to say "oh but he was so much taller than everybody back then - it's not fair." So?! It's not fair that Jordan was able to jump over everybody or that he was so quick and strong. Physical attributes are just part of the game. Yao Ming was taller than everybody else, and he was great but he was no Shaq or Wilt or Kareem. You still have to put it all together.
