As a fellow cyclist, this was incredible painful for me to watch. No wonder why motorists and other road users hate cyclists.

As a cyclist and having seen what goes on in London, the law breakers need to have their bikes confiscated certainly for red light jumping and pedestrian crossing violations.

When I cycle, I'm super relaxed, happy to stop at lights and wait behind vehicles etc. People need to chill the F out.

There are days where driving a snowplow fast through the centre of a city must be so appealing.

I have been a regular London cyclist since 1978, and I can say without doubt that the situation is now hell on earth, cyclists are their own (and every one els's ) worst enemy. I now only cycle out of peak times, whereas back in the day, I rode to work and back every day.

I'm a cyclist and I get annoyed with dangerous cyclists. I studied the highway code before I started cycling on the road, i didn't cycle on the pavement, I used the cycle paths before. I do think that there should be a basic highway code book when you buy a bike

I was driving my van and about to turn left. Looked in my mirror and saw a cyclist right next to me. I indicate, and he still stays there. My passenger puts his arm out and yells to the cyclist "Oi mate! We're turning left, back off back off!" he ignores us. As I get to the turn off I slow down and come to a stop before the turn. The cyclist pulls up and starts yelling at us accusing us of being too close to him.

Jeez, and I thought cyclists hated cars. They hate everything on the roads including each other by the looks of it

I usually cycle around the rural/suburban areas I live around but cycled down to Manchester to see what it's like and the amount of clueless and oblivious cyclists was incredible. No one knew what they were doing and the ones that did were taking no prisoners

I think the only practical remedy to this is moving out of such a city. There are cities that just turn people into stressed-out agressive and incosiderate beings.

Incredible. Where I am near the beach there are areas where you have to walk your bike and riders will simply just keep on riding through these areas. Drives me crazy.

Without proper infrastructure, London appears to filter out all the "normal" cyclists, and makes sure only the real dare-devil stays on the road. And yeah - this is what you get in one of those situations.

Amazingly, the cyclists that ignore the ped crossings, with a solid stiff arm they pop right of those bikes.

The life of a bus driver in London can be quite demanding.

Not sure if to cry or laugh. Probably cry. Feel sry for all truck/bus drivers.

We were in the city a long time while back and an impatient courier decided he didn't want to wait for pedestrians on the green man. He shoved his way through the pedestrians shouting beep beep until he hit my sister in laws leg. He then spent the next 10 minutes laid on the floor begging us not to hurt him. Luckily we are quite reasonable peopl, that isn't always the case in London.

Because most people are selfish and just care for themselves (and maybe relatives / people they know). And one puts oneself over all the others in traffic. "I am more important, you can wait" That's the main problem in my eyes. Of course there are exceptions, ( the one filming this vid, e.g. ). But a little bit patience and hindsight with others would make the world a much better place. ..

If only these cyclists would admit they were in the wrong, sadly not .

No wonder drivers and pedestrians dislike cyclists. I know, I'm a driver too as well as a cyclist at times. When I do ride a bike I ride it properly by stopping at the red light plus sticking to the hard left shoulder of the road. These idiots on their bikes don't obviously do that. They ride too fast where they think they are on Tour De France and they don't stick to the cycle lanes. It's hardly surprising that they end up in hospital or even get killed due to a nasty accident. It's their fault really for riding carelessly, they forgot the highway code. Cruising it with due care is what I call proper cycling.

Music is a pain - But good comp and just listened to something else... Saved the best till last - not annoying, but long nailed cyclist! Damn that was creepy!

How about the ones with unnecessarily bright stroboscopic flashlights blinding the hell out of everyone around?

Wow, things have changed a lot since I was one of only ten bicycle commuters in London! At least then you only had to worry about cars, delivery vans, taxis and couriers.

Damn that lorry driver had the chance to take out around ten cyclists, an opportunity missed bugger.

And why are the police not prosecuting them for going through red lights, driving into oncoming traffic. The list is endless. Again, I ask why no prosecutions??

Never understood the overtaking/weaving at intersections.. . Just endangers yourself as a cyclist and is just annoying for the car drivers. Unless there is a dedicated bicycle lane I'll gladly stay behind cars.

I’m a cyclist in London and now completely understand why cyclists are disliked. Also staggered the death rate of cyclists isn’t way higher after seeing so many imbeciles having such disregard for others and themselves.

I lived in London 1966-1979 and did my daily commute by bike. Back then life was a lot simpler and there were fewer cyclists. Gawd knows how you survive out there!

I am quite happy to live in Berlin. Usually, streets are wide enough so busses and cyclists can coexist. Actually, often bus and bike lanes are combined, and bus drivers are well trained and are cooperative. So I try to cooperate as well :-)

Cyclists keep telling us that they're very vulnerable and should be respected on the roads. Well that was a catalogue of what I see on the roads every day. Respect needs to be earned you guys not expected.

I'm not a cyclist and I don't live in London but I'm used to driving in busy city traffic. What strikes me is that cycling there is so dangerous, especially with all the buses, even for the ones who don't take mad risk. And the majority of cyclists in this vid seems to be in such a rush to get where they're going. Probably why they cycle rather than drive.

"Standing with no hands" and no helmet. Looking out for the 'Vaper', and the 'Vampire' with long finger nails.

Even with an audible warning system advising that the truck is turning left they all lined up along its left side. Pathetic.

Everyone that uses the road should be accountable for thier actions

Darn. Totally out of control. Inconsiderate. Dangerous, etc. Time for pedestrians to use baseball/cricket bats at crossings and free hits if light is red.

A friend of mine is disabled. He uses a walking stick. He tells me that a walking stick through the front wheel spokes of a cyclist who fails to yield at a pedestrian crossing is a perfect tool to bring them down to earth !

One of the many reasons I left and moved to the Netherlands. And it just seemed normal to me then. Thanks for reminding me I'm spoilt here. Even after living in London for 34 years.

Seeing this and comparing our situation in Southern California, where a big push is being made to get people out of cars and onto alternate means of transportation, in London, it appears that the influx of bicycles hampers to a degree, the flow of vehicle traffic, with some friction and overall stress in the city being caused by negative interactions between cyclists and motorist, and between cyclists and cyclists. Even in the most congested parts of Los Angeles, in downtown (where I lived and cycled for 7 years), at least the layout of the vehicular and cycling lanes are in a grid. What I am seeing in London is not a grid, but a maze, with lanes meant only for vehicles meeting lanes that have been altered to accommodate cyclists. When these lanes converge, the cyclist can either stay in the vehicle lanes and wait their turn, or spill out onto areas and impede the flow of traffic. This disrupted flow brings opportunities for confrontations between cyclists and motorists, and other cyclists who are also jostling for position, resulting in friction, name calling, and a bad day for all involved. This is not a put down of London, nor do I have a solution. Just an observation and comparison to my cycling experience in the big city. Since this clip is a compilation and not all that can be seen in any given day, I do give credit to the motorists and cyclists in London, who just want to get from point A to point B without a blow up. At the same time seeing the things that boil to the surface, much is probably restrained and kept tucked away, giving a nod to the whole of London herself for her self-restriction. I’m from a place called up north. Thank god I don’t have to experience the hell on earth of London everyday. Just watching these videos is stressful enough.

What makes it worse is that if any driver were to be involved in an accident due to the cyclist, then it’s the driver who gets the blame from the police etc etc.

I'm a cyclist and this video made me the angriest I've been in years. No wonder the government wants to put licence plates on bicycles. I feel like going to London just punch some of these idiots myself. I say put a police officer on every London street corner and do a on the spot fine of £1000 for all minor infringement a cyclist does.

I think that when a country has this many bike commuters, it's time to make rear view mirrors mandatory.
