You got knife juggler wrong. First version wasnt that good because its effect only triggered when you "play" a minion (that is, when you summon it from your hand and only that way) but for the second iteration and onwards, its effect triggers when you "summon" a minion (that is, whenever a minion appears in the board regardless of how it appeared) so its effect could be triggered by tokens summoned from deathrattles such as hunter creeper whereas the first iteration's effect wouldn't have triggered from hunted creepers deathrattle
Yeah, the current version is the stronger one, do you even play hearthstone or you just like some clickbait? Maybe you should stick to WoW, those videos are more accurate
Edwin may technically be the most changed card but really Warsong, Unleash and Buzzard are all way more changed since these became like 5 different cards where as Edwin has been nearly identical with the only really big change being some mana changes and losing his stealth keyword.
Kingsbane and tinkerer's oil are years apart guys. Tinkers was goblins and gnomes, the blade flurry got nerfed a full two years later with the introduction of whispers of the old gods, and kingsbane entered the game a year and a half after that point with kobolds and catacombs
About Warsong Commander: The version that gave all minions charge was removed pretty fast after the game's release because it gave Warriors charging 8/8 Giants, not a year. And the biggest problem with Patron Warrior that caused the card to be obliterated with the nerf wasn't so much the Grim Patron itself, it was the Frothing Berserker(s) you played before the Patron that could then Charge in the opponent's face for a casual 20-25 damage each after the Patrons were used as removal. Patron Warrior as a control deck was fun to play with and against. Patron Warrior as an OTK with Frothing Berserker wasn't.
Even tho it's not a change to molten giant specifically I would've liked to see the overall cost reduction changes mentioned aswell which led to naga seawitch decreasing the cost to 5 and afterwards to 0 at just 25 health. Overall decent video tho. I assume alot of the things that are only really relevant in wild are less well documented
While Edwin might’ve been changed more times, I’d still say hounds and warsong were more dramatically changed. Also, interesting to note that while warsong (a warrior card) is arguably the most changed, it’s very apparent that rogue, hunter, and warlock have been the most difficult classes to balance
I started shortly before goblins vs gnomes, and my first legendary was Velen. I had an (obviously not very good) auchenai soulpriest / velen deck. Pretty sure I even worked a Sea Giant in at some point, because that was the first epic I got from a pack
It's worth mentioning that molten giant card description is wrong, where it costs 1 less for each missing point of hp and not for each damage taken. blade flurry was nerfed to the ground way before kingsbane was printed. Kingsbane was printed in december 2017 and bladeflurry was nerfed in march 2016 with the first year of standard. It's joked that blade flurry died because of kingsbane because when they nerfed it they said that it was limiting the design space for weapon rogue, something that took almost 2 years to see.
You missed a very important old Warrior Archetype with Warsong Commander, which led to its first nerf. Molten Warrior. They would deliberately lower their health to 10, then play Warsong Commander followed by Molten Giant, Molten Giant and a Faceless Manipulator then slam the enemy hero for 24 damage, from hand. Some variants also ran sea giants in case they could be added in for guaranteed 30+ damage. Needless to say, it was absolutely disgusting to deal with that in pretty much every warrior game.
Top 10 Cards that still never saw play after being buffed. Top 10 spells that summoned minions. Top 10 spells that cost 7 or more. Top 10 minions that add cards to your hand.
I feel like changes within the alpha shouldn't be considered as significant as changes after the game released. I wonder how the list would look if you discounted prerelease changes.
I'm not really sure what's what, but the graphics and monologue on Knife Juggler don't really match up.im not sure what's play and what's in the hand, what's summon, and so on.
Top 10 gimmick cards that actually saw play. Most priest cards that blizzard printed as jokes for the joke class like confuse, Topsy turvy, purify, etc. As well as other dumb cards like anyfin can happen and astral communion or renounce darkness
This would be pretty much any card with a cost above 7 or even above 6 most of the time when talking about wild cards aswell. Jokes aside rattlegore would probably be at the top of the list because it's a ultra late game minion in a class without cost reduction or cheating out deathrattles that doesn't win you the game immediately. One of my favorite cards aswell. Always breaks my hard when I think about it
@@quentind1924 in that case it would probably be different iterations of pain or dark glare warlock in wild ,grim patron , test subject and some miracle stuff. Could be a cool list I agree but I don't think OTK dh was nearly as hard as some of these other decks tho. APM mage might also make the list
