@@Jarczenko idk man, the stats might be too good for the cost. good idea tho, with all the power creep these days maybe it won’t be that op you know what, i think we can afford to have one insanely broken minion even in today’s game. great card design just had to think it through
When they make bad epics, I at least appreciate when their effects are unique and interesting enough to where a streamer (Regiskillbin most likely) might be incentivized to make one video of the card not totally sucking for a game or two. It’s better than ones with boring effects that get forgotten on the day after it gets revealed
Great video, I’m always looking forward for your posts, especially in the wow channel. Shadowlands is in bad shape I guess, but I would give an idea to make a video about the best 2 legs combo or something I was thought and can not find an obvious answer: if all the major cds were up 100%, which would be the best spec? (Shadow blades, combustion, void form…)
Having listened to so many RU-vid videos discussing Yu-Gi-Oh, there's something odd about hearing a Hearthstone card's Keyword described as being like one from M:tG.
Now that emerald hive queen is in wild as well, Zombie Chow (which is a much older card anyway) does that card’s job, but better in basically every way. And it still doesn’t see any play these days.
I own a golden Gurubashi Offering. I'll never forget it. Someday it will be good. Some of the buffs seem a bit too much but I do appreciate you evaluating what the cards intent was and trying to improve it. It does suck having some of the most expensive cards (dust wise) be so volatile. Some are amazing and others are unusable. I'd love to see that gab closed a bit.
My first thought was "if Deathaxe Punisher doesn't make it in, I'm gonna be genuinely surprised." Guess what the first card is? :) But seriously, when I first saw the card, I thought it was fake.
@@olehart5850 now i think about it a bit more, you are right, it doesn't seem like it would change anything if it took damage end of your turn instead of start of turn, it will be a 3/5 basically until the start of your turn either way
I don't think desert obelisk should be here, as it is at least used in meme otk decks. It can also be played with celestial alignment. Instead of this I would have put bubbler baron, spirit healer, junkbot or barrens stablehand.
One time I was playing a stormwind quest paladin deck, which is basically play a bunch of one cost minions to get the reward of buffing your silver hand recruits for the rest of the game. I had the perfect card in hand which was first day of school, a 1 cost spell that adds two one cost cards to your hand, which if I played both cards would complete the quest. And of aaaaaallll the 1 drops I could have gotten, I got the emerald hive queen from 13:00 . ruined my entire combo turn and lost me the game
A idea for a video could be top 10 worse cards that give you weapons, i don't know if there are 10 cards that do this or if it would be a viable video but I got the idea from elwynn boar my favourite bad card because it's a south park reference which in its self is a WOW reference
nice list, there are a few contenders for worst Epics that could take the spot over the cards that were there for being a bit too low statted like Fel-Orc Soulfiend and Deathaxe punisher Mini mage, 3 mana for a 3/1 stealth and spell dmg +1, bad stats for the cost, and this card used to be even worse, costing 4 mana as a 4/1 before the buff Shimmering Courser 4 mana 3/3 that can only be targetted by your own spells/hero power, Basically an overcosted Faerie dragon that's not worth the extra 2 mana for such a minor advantage and +1 hp Whirlwind Tempest, 8 mana 6/6, your windfury minions have Mega windfury. There are not that many windfury minions and this costing 8 mana means it's very hard to do any kind of combo with those minions Wind-up Burglebot, 6 mana 5/5, Very understatted and it has to attack a minion and survive to draw a card, you could make it better with the Dr. Boom hero to give this rush, but even in that case, warrior already has Stonemaul anchorman which is mostly a better version of this card By the way, I really like that you actually came up with ideas how to buff these underpowered cards, would be a nice idea for another video
What if they just added a deathrattlle to gurubashi offering that heals your hero for 4 or something. That way it always does something with a possible big payoff if it lives somehow
Would be interesting if you'd implement it like this Deathrattle: if it is your opponents turn deal 8 damage to the enemy hero. Gain 8 armor. Dies at the start of your turn.
well, it's still a vanilla 9 mana 8/8 compared to a 5 mana 0/5 You could create two small 1/1 of them through effect like Barnes + shadowstep and it still create a 30/30 end of your turn. Yes it's still a bad card, but at least it's a fun card to think up ideas for creating a 30/30
How is zilliax on this list, at the time it came out, most of the decks that lack healing or removal just run this in their deck, i mean 5 mana heal 6 and kill 2 of your opponent monsters is good enough for some deck even if u dont run any mech with it
The cringe level of the editor's comments skyrocketed on this video. I think that I'm not gonna watch any of them anymore, there's only so much cringe I can take. I feel like I'm reading the comments of a 10 years old playing with his toys.
