The game was rushed and far too short for an open world Ubisoft title hence why it flopped

Watch Dogs Legion is the most beautiful boring game I've ever played. The new concept despite being innovative, wasn't fun. It just looked cool on paper and that's what Ubisoft needed, they didn't want a design which would innovate gameplay, they wanted a design which sounds good on stage. Me and my friend both stopped playing it after around 7-8 hours. So much potential lost. Every mission is basically Infiltrate->Hack->Escape, EVERY SINGLE MISSION!!

What’s funny only things that change are pretty much roster and increasing of micro transactions right? Gameplay is the same as 5 years before, if not earlier. Sports games should be live service games imo. Instead of buying it new every year

the mistake was having positive expectations from EA. Its like having an abusive partner who beats your ass every day and you think to yourself “hey, they werent so angry today, I think they wont hit me”. That example may be a bit extreme but its true on the same level.

When the N64 original has more content, life, characters, courts, and is better balanced 15 WHOLE YEARS & 3 CONSOLE GENERATIONS PRIOR...you know something's wrong. :/

I stopped playing Madden like 3 years ago because of the nonsense.

I feel for you guys about Madden, I’m Australian so I don’t know the sport to want to buy it and play it but it does not mean I don’t understand EA ruining its sport games with Ultimate team. I played Fifa as far back as 2007 and I gave up on Fifa in 2013 after a few years of FUT cards being a tumour attached to career mode. Career mode on Fifa went backwards and continues to do so even now.

I actually consider Cyberpunk a good game (pc version). I got almost bugfree experience except spawning cops and disappearing crownd. Considering all main and side quests, there is a lot to do for an easy minimum of 60 hours of play time. For what it has, the game is worth what I paid for (50$). If all the missing features were actually in the game, Cyberpunk 2077 would be at least 80$.

Pretty sure the game was really hollow and then they got mad hype from trailers with Keanu Reeves when be was only designed to be in it for 5 mins . So they brought Keanu back and made the game about him.

imo if they had just advertised it and made it as a linear shooter with a semi-open world, i wouldnt be this mad right now cuz i like the writing.

I believe in like May 2020 they quietly changed the description of the game, which is really dirty. - They don't even call it an RPG anymore THEMSELVES, which is baffling considering they based this game on a "pen & paper" RPG when they announced it as far back as 2012 and brought Mike Pondsmith, the creator of that game, to the presentation. - Now it isn't an RPG anymore all of a sudden?... Just because they couldn't do it?... I wonder how Pondsmith feels about this... - It's a slap in the face to EVERYONE who was into it because of what they set out to make it be.

I'm disappointed because it's not the world they described and showed in the previews. - I remember the trailer with the Trauma Team, how they arrived armored and armed and didn't take any crap from any bystanders and were just there to do their job. - It's a perfect irony that a city is so dirty and dangerous that medics basically have to be armored and armed to rescue people with a chance of needing to shoot another human down. - That sense of oppression or dread or whatever it was... That's what I wanted in the world of this game, to actually feel like there's something tangible and alive, a place that's bigger than me the player or a videogame. - But no, we get dumb T-posing characters that say nonsensical crap, traffic that can't navigate, cars flung into your face, cops that spawn behind you, areas that glitch and are unfinished and lifeless and so on and so forth. I was only someone who had vaguely heard of this game and started looking into it in late 2019 and even I am disappointed. I don't care if it MIGHT be a decent action-game with a decent story, then I'll just play the new DOOMs or something. - It was supposed to be about the world, this one... I'm glad I bought the art-book instead of the game.

Even though the industry is too greedy and soulless, what's disappointing is that it's the consumers that are empowering them. EA is the perfect example, every single year they pump out the same gambling crate filled games because they know people will spend on it. If the average consumer would just stop mindlessly buying from them, they'd actually be forced to make quality games.

To be fair if they had paid for the actors' likenesses the narrative would now be that they paid so much that they couldn't afford to develop the game.

Lets be real these characters have existed for like 50+ years waaay before the time of these actors, do you really need to give actors credit for the likeness of a character that predates them? With multiple authors and editors and who knows how many changes they had? These character look generic but pinning it on not looking like the actors or insinuating that they should or it wont work, i think is completely untrue.

Although, even if there was no choice, it would be better to abstain from ea games if they were the only games in town. They would stop their metaphorical puppy kicking if enough people agreed to stop buying their products until they did so. Or they would go out of business and the ip would be bought up by a different company. Admittedly, given the way things tend to go, Konami would buy it all and we would end up in a worse position.

Not necessarily shit. Take FIFA... it's technically a good game if you like soccer, however apart from roster changes, it's the same game from 10 years ago. If you want a soccer game then save yourself some money and buy FIFA 2010 for a dollar and update the roster yourself. BTW I'm from the UK and just said soccer to avoid confusion.

I thought the story was fairly good but only after a 2nd playthrough since there are so many themes that are easy to miss after a 1st playthrough. I still think the ordering of events/flashbacks could've been a bit better. Angry Joe gave it 6/10 so def. not worst of 2020 but I'm surprised he didn't put it in his disappointing list either.

I thought it was loads of fun but there are many issues that shouldn't be ignored, and should be fixed

They need to fix the ai but, regardless of the bugs it's a fun game and great story

@@mikoto7693 SPOILER ALERT nope, he/she gets 6 months ( in most endings) which we neither see or play. Which also gave me the feeling that all i tried to accomplish in the story was a waste, cause it ends kind of bad No matter what

@@Almighty218 Thanks for confirming that. I missed out because I'd have to get a PS4 version and learnt about the bugs before I could get it. Your confirmation of V's fate seals it for me. I don't want to play a game where the character I play as dies. Dying six months after the game still counts. So I appreciate your answer.

@@mikoto7693 though i Will say, its not a bad game, so if you think the idea and universe seems cool, consider buying it on sale or something like that, cause you can still get a lot of fun out of it (if it runs somewhat smoothly)
