Swellow was my only full odds shiny. There was a tornado passing through so my mom made me and my brother go to the basement. My DS was almost dead and I was just messing around and battling random wild Pokémon. Did not even know shiny Pokémon existed. I run into it, then there’s this big crashing noise and the power goes out. I catch it, save my game, and my DS died. Legendary night.
Lunala is also a fitting red, because a it being the moon pokemon, because of Blood moon/Lunar eclipse. i think that solgaleo would have looked awsome in a dark blueish color as bigger stars are
I think the reasoning behind Solgaleo is because of the idea of red giants/red supergiants. That may sound like I'm defending it, but that's not the case because it's not a great shade of red.
The red on Solgaleo was really unpleasant. I think it was mostly because it was just too much red. I personally would've preferred either a dark yellow or orange with red highlights here and there, to make it look more like the actual sun, since it doesn't really resemble a star at all.
Two things. First blue stars aren't big. They are actually pretty small on average to around the same size as the sun. Red Giants are big stars. Second I do t think there is anything wrong with the shiny it looks perfectly fine and I have no idea why anyone is saying it looks bad
@@williamgreene590 I think that the shiny could have looked better with a nice blue tint where the white are on solgaleo 1 year later i still feel like the shiny form didnt really age well for me at least. not while Lunala got an awesome blood mood like color. the least they could have done(in my opinion) is to contrast that with a nice blue color on solgaleo
I know, it's common, but i always wanted a shiny eevee of my own. I bred over 800 eggs when i was 9 and never found one :( Shiny sylveon is tied for my favorite too!
YES HEATMOR, love that thing so much but hardly anyone ever hunts it or pays attention to it at all, it's easily one of my favorites that I've hunted. Agree with all the others too!

I actually really love Shiny Spiritomb. It's one of my personal favorite shiny Pokémon. I didn't know it was underrated. I think it's a really good shiny.
I never hear anyone talking about Shiny Gigalith which is a shame because it is honestly one of the coolest shinies I have ever seen! You know how when Gigalith roars, its crystals light up orange? Well, the shiny form has blue crystals, but they still glow orange! Seeing the orange tint bleed through the blue crystals is incredibly cool, but often overlooked because you can only really tell by using it in battle.
Sawyer Friend Shiny Gigalith is amazing. I didn't notice until someone pointed it out as I ignored the evo line in gen 5. I really need to get around to catching one.

One shiny I personally think deserves more love than it gets is shiny Noivern. Another green shiny swept under the rug for being green, but I absolutely adore it for actually making it look like the Wyvern it's design was inspired by.

I'm going to politley disagree for your sake because Noivern doesnt deserve such luxuries. Regular Noivern is okay but shiny is gross and is the same nearly as Mega 'Zard X(dont worry gross looking there too). The Noibat shiny is quite good I must admit despite hating the duo.

I don't know why people like shiny Solgaleo over shiny Lunala. Solgaleo looks like what Mufasa should have looked like after the stampede. Lunala turns into a blood moon. She's literally a living lunar eclipse
Dude have you even seen a blood moon before? Or if you do are you colorblind (not hating on any colorblind people) cuz the shade is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT hell if could even be a different colour
Guys... seriously... they probably chose red for Lunala to base it OFF a blood moon. Yes, the colors are different. But that doesn't necessarily mean it wasn't based off it. There are plenty of shinies who are based on different things that don't perfectly match it.
I have a shiny Pikipek and Toucannon. Didn't intend to get a second one in the hunting session but it was a highly welcomed surprise. Its happened a few times.
Just to clarify, when I say I accidentally find shiny Pokemon by complete accident, I mean throughout the Pokemon games I have played, I try to find one specific Pokemon in that specific area, when all of a sudden I am greeted with a shiny Pokemon.

My favorite shiny has gotta be Salamence, not just because it was my first shiny. If we wanna go by technicality, my real first shiny was a Sealeo, but I didn’t even notice it was shiny until after I caught it. I also caught it in a Max raid battle so I don’t feel like counting it. Salamence- Bagon when I caught it- was my first Shiny caught at its regular size. It was also the Pokémon that taught me about the apparent “Pokérus,” so I hold a big place in my heart for it. I’m also a huge fan of Pseudo-Legendaries.

I know this video is old. But when it comes to Green Shinies, I think Muk takes it. Grimer is really cool too, but Muk's darker green really fits it as a Pokemon. Especially with the subtle change of its tongue going from a faint purple to green.
Also, blood red for shiny Lunala also works really well because Lunala is the box legendary for Moon, meaning it could symbolize a blood moon, which would connect it even more to the shiny coloration. (edit) I REALLY WANT SHINY RIBOMBEE!!!!
Marnie Sutton I love the color pallet of Bruxish (nonshiney) I just think it looks creepy. It could've been way prettier with the colors it already has.
With the dlc in shield (not sword) for crown tundra, you can actually hunt it with a 1 in 300 chance. With the shiny charm, it goes up to an insane 1 in 100!
Funny how bloodmoon lunala is good but red giant solgaleo doesn’t when it should. Is it too bright of a red? It’s based on the sun! Maybe make it darker? Could work but then the inspiration makes less sense. Kinda makes me want to hate shiny lunala for making the red work but solgaleo magically doesn’t work but I do like shiny lunala and I regret catching it in dynamax adventures without hunting it while having sword but not shield.
I know this is weird but... I actually love shiny jynx! It was the first shiny I caught in the wild, and If you don't know about it, it's hair turns pale gold instead of bright gold, and it's dress turns pink. I know jynx is hated, but I'm very proud to have mine.
Shiny Psyduck was actually the first Shiny I caught legitimately, without hacking or special events. And I wasn't even hunting for it, it just showed up out of nowhere!
XxthenoobxX Taominism Shiny Magikarp is okay. It's a golden shiny. They look good. Also, I noticed a pattern... Pokémon GO released Shiny forms of Magikarp, Pikachu, and Sableye. Man, they must love yellow shinies.
I think shiny Minun is really great and it does NOT get enough credit. I just wish they gave Plusle a similar quality shiny instead of making it nearly identical.
I was grinding in ice path the other day and I found a shiny! I wanted Delibird or Swinub but I got Golbat, however it looks pretty good anyway so I don't really mind.
The reason that shines got better in gen 6 was because before, they used an algorithm to determine the colors, while they actually pick the shiny color now.
I always liked shiny Bruxish more than regular Bruxish. The colors come together really well and stand out. And I kinda have a soft spot for ugly Pokemon haha

I encountered a shiny Lugia before I knew what shinies were. I assumed that it wasn't very rare because it was only around my fifth reset (I was terrible at catching it, I was 9).

Azurill was the first full-odds shiny I CAUGHT (I panicked when I saw the pink Remoraid years prior), so having the yellow Azumarill on my team into the Kalos championship was one of my favorite pokemon memories. AND, I caught it on my first day while grinding up in preparation to fight the first gym
George Hollyhead In my opinion, Alolan Meowth and Persian have amazing shinies that look better than their non-shiny forms. The shades of blue and purple that Gamefreak chose for them are so unique. Unfortunately, Alolan Persian is universally hated (like Bruxish) so no-one pays them any attention. I like them though.
