I live a nomadic life toodling around in an RV. My storage unit is half full and i have a table set up for puzzles and my desk for doing taxes etc. If I ever wanted to rent a studio apartment I have just enough family "heirloom" furniture to do that...barely😅. I'm constantly kicking stuff out of the RV into storage and then doing a dropoff at Goodwill. My son comes to help with heavy lifting with the promise I'm not going to leave a huge disorganized mess for him to deal with when I'm gone. It really does help with the "slowly letting go".
My garage is half full & I'm at the point of just giving everything away & starting over. A lot is my grandparents & late mothers things. I'm hoping to clear moat, preferably all in the next 2 weeks. Thank you for sharing. ❤
Oh wow, seems like you’ve also drawn the line in the sand! Starting over is a daunting & wonderful place. I’m taking way more than two weeks😅 & trying to balance between keeping & giving away - I realised I’m more sentimental than I think 😊 Let me know how it went 😅
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I came back to the video because it was absolutely great! The content was engaging, informative, and well-presented. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality material. Keep up the excellent work!
Thank you, thank you! I won’t say never but not right now as it’s not something I know much about. However, have my skin non-negotiables are sunscreen EVERY day - African sun is lethal🔥, and lots of water!
I go through my house once a year, and if i haven't used it in a year, it is given away. I don't like useless junk in my house. I have extra room in all bedrooms and all my closets and my garage. It's just me in a 3 bedroom house. I keep it roomy. I do like a large fridge. I have 2 of them because one broke a few months ago. I get all my groceries once a month and i like it that way. So 2 fridges is convenient. I had a storage unit once when i was a roommate in an apt. Not enough room for all my stuff in that apt. That was only for 6 months. I even got rid of all my old photo albums. I never looked at them. What's the point?
That's a great ritual - once a year! I don't have anything extra any more either, although I have kept my photo albums and my fav books and puzzles, lol.
