You can actually get Santa to appear in Terraria. I don't know how, but I think you have to have a room made out of Candy Cane (my friend made one in my world) or just have a free room at Christmas time. He sells Santa clothes and Christmas lights. He's not that important, but it is pretty cool.

For Shenmue, you don't need the system clock to be Christmas at all. You need the IN-GAME clock to be AROUND Christmas, and it is fairly COMMON for him to show up as he isn't even Santa. He's a guy advertising a bar. So yeah, I can see you haven't played much.
