I was going to do that too. I think I can check everything but leather bottoms. Some the 3rd Time around. I've kept them all and only buy vintage and pre loved. Too easy
I am thrilled that red is trending for fall, because I have so many great pieces. Over the past year I’ve become a lover of button-down shirts…so classic! As a petite hourglass I’m also happy about the return of peplums which look amazing on me. The recent growth oversized and shapeless blazer look absolutely swamps me and looks terrible, so I’m all for some body-skimming tailoring.
Me, too, as a fellow petite I refused to buy any of those enormous, oversized pieces. I want tailored clothes, not tight, not baggy, just body-skimming. I’m happy about the return of peplums, too, my hips are too narrow, so they give me more shape in that area🙂
Omg yes, same! I have this gorgeous leather peplum I had in storage for 2 years unable to wear due to weight gain. Absolutely thrilled I can wear it again! And I cannot wear these oversized men's looking clothing. (No shade against anyone else just talking about ME). I'm a woman! Petite hourglass as well. My hubby goes crazy when I wear fitting clothing it shoes my shape! I am happy about peplum being back in!
Hosiery - tights and socks, are underrated accessories. I’m a skirt/dress gal, and I love wearing knee- or thigh-high boots with tights in winter (but I match them). I still wear above-knee skirts, at 63 and need to cover my legs in winter. At home, I just wear tall socks, they’re more comfy.
When you bring out the pieces in your wardrobe, that you already have to show us the more practical style, it really helps for me to look then in my wardrobe and see if I have some thing similar. Sometimes the photos are exciting to look at, but not practical for regular people, but don’t take away the photos. I love the photos to, thank you so much. Have a blessed day.
I love pantyhose and own a wide range of opaque coloured ones. I am always on a hunt for patterned pairs, so very happy to haver them really back in fashion ... Quality Paris at reasonable prize in plus size but kind of petite is a great challenge

Tights and hose are especially lovely and useful in cooler weather. Frankly, bare leggs belong only on the very young, or in a beach town (with sandals) - never with business or evening clothes. Yes, it's comfortable, but bare leggs make most outfits look cheep. I'm glad to see them become trendy (I never gave them up).
I have two maxi length circle skirts that will be Fall perfect that I purchased in Spring. Your blouse is beautiful and I would love it in red!! Glad peplums are back. Always flattering. Funny how just recently they were considered passe!
Hello Leonie, I do love my birkenstock Teddy Shearling sandals. When you get them, the name inside is papillo made in Portugal. I got mine at Nordstroms. I have had them for 2 years they are fabulous! They are holding up great and not dirty. Lol I also love anything with a hood I feel like with my broad shoulders, the hood makes them look a little smaller and hoods are cool looking and so cozy!

I so hope you have a good tailor who can hem pants and shorten blazer/coat sleeves for you Amazon clothes may not be worth the investment but these things definitely are! Wonderful video Leonie! About peplums, as long as it's not a bodycon top with the peplum, tops that have peplums are actually really flattering on people with a tummy, as they skim over the area. I'm getting excited for fall after seeing this! I need to slow and enjoy our beautiful summer though😉.

I like all trends but sherling things for outside wear… Rainy weather 99% during winter instead of cold/snow, so this won’t work for me. I love colorful tights, full skirts and shearling jackets! I wear uggs in the house as slippers when it’s bitter cold. A little hard to think about some of this right now though it’s nearly 100 degrees where I live 🔥🥵

I have a high quality circle skirt that I have had for years. It is a workhorse. White blouses crisp and tailored. Perfect. Black boots..,brown ones too. A well made red blazer will take you far......think RL from the 70s. Classic. Oh and cashmere over that skirt.🌟💫🌟

I don't mind the circle skirts but they don't fit into my lifestyle so I won't be wearing one this fall although I can see wearing one in the summer with a cute little tee. Ugh on the Uggs. Yuck on the color red and the peplum tops. Never wore a peplum top and never will. I heard burgundy and brown will be in this fall too. I can get behind those colors.

I saw a few comments on the individual trends and i thought I'd contribute mine too haha; - Circle skirts, i have 1 dressy one that i bought so i could mix snd match with tops instead of dresses for special ocassions, maybe I'll get more - Fluffy acessories; nope and i dont think i want any, those short uggs look intriguing though - Hoods, yes but only where it makes sense so it doesn't look out of trend too soon and making sure its the only "trend", for example that puff sleeve, hooded top i can see looking dated fast! - leather, yes love leather, but on upper half, but I've been thinking of looser fit bottoms, to offset "sexiness" lol, i double denim, double leather sounds interesting - Red; Maybe, in acessories, sparingly, there's a lot of colour pairings i dont like when it comes to red (ketchup and mustard, Christmas) snd if its too bright or warm i look odd - wraps/shawls; interesting but maybe not, they've always existed and i didn't get them, so i might be adding to clutter if i added one now - statement tights; probably same thing as the shawls, i only have one plain one at a time that i barely wear anyway - shearling jackets - YES! Waiting for years now to find my perfect one, i want one where the shearling isnt a light colour - white shirt - same story as wraps and tights, but i do have a linen one i like now. - peplums, YES, i saw a youtuber wesring a shirt version yesterday with a straight denim skirt and I immediately started researching where to get one.

Your Gingiberi picks are so good! I am one of those who said no to button up shirts. My amendment is this: if the collar is flat against my shoulders I may tolerate. I don’t like traditional shirt collar because my neck is furthered shortened (I don’t have swan neck) and my moon face being fuller and fatter.
Yeah Fall will be here before I know it. I never stepped away from circle skirt and now I am learning to wear them just going out for errands. I love wearing my hoodies under a coat or oversized blazer. I did not wear my red coat and other items last year but they will be getting another chance. I love ponchos, it like having your blanket with you. I have actually wore blanket and belted them over my coats. I'm curious if I can still wear my tights because it been some years since I worn them but they stored away for the season. I do have some shearling jackets and coats. I am wearing a white button up now with my black/white stripe linen shorts. Eventho, I don't want to think about it, eventually Fall /Winter will be here. The only thing I will be needing to add is the pleather leggings in black, brown, cream. Thanks for sharing and Ta ta for now.
