I cannot express how dissapointed I was when I saw kingdom rhinox in store, when I saw the reveals I was so exited now I die inside every time I see one and I see it ALL THE TIME
@@Nolans_Stop_Motions_reviews_YT The thing that sucks is he hardly even fills that role well, because for some God forsaken reason Rhinox is the ONLY Beast Wars figure released thus far without a show-accurate head sculpt. While everyone else got show-accurate, for some stupid reason Rhinox was based off a stupid model from a mobile game, and so far Tarantulas and Inferno have more than put him to shame as wonderful representations of those characters with my only complaints between the two of them being a couple of pieces of kibble management on Inferno. It's fine if you still don't care, obviously, but you can't deny they screwed up his figure badly enough that it's almost owed to use to make a better one down the line for Legacy.
I am so mad I actually got a good copy of tracks. I really want to hate the figure, but the tolerances are better than most of my collection. So I’m confused to what to feel.
I would love a un-transformable masterpiece scale arc. Like one that would open up and you have all these rooms and details. Not completely in scale cause then we would have a star destroyer, but has the essential space to recreate soundwave sneaking in for the 50th time cause the autobots security is as bad as my pantry.
I'm still so glad when Thrilling 30 came out in 2013(?) I grabbed up those Beast Wars characters as soon as I found them. Those 3 are great stand ins for their sub par Kingdom releases. And yes, I'm including Waspinator in that. The Kingdom one looks incredibly cheap to me. He looks hollow, the bug legs stick out worse than the T30, and his gun is an insult. Even if the Kingdom is slightly more accurate, I don't care. The T30 is unmistakably Waspinator, that's all I care about.
I'm actually like insanely impressed this wasn't a rant! It was very mature and you didn't run off down different avenues to pad out videos, I know plenty of youtubers who are way nicer to figures who just absolutely turn to savages with these types of videos. I guess being objective with all figures instead of just saying evrythin is good helps ya be objective with a worst of list too! Lookin forward to what 2022 does for us! Great video!
I mean a lot of people like it when I rant, I do think I can get pretty funny when I do that. But I just wasn't feeling like that. All I wanted to do was justify its placement on the list. Plus the things that I could rant on in this video I have rented on before plenty of times. Though that does feel a bit like Damning with faint praise. Like your interests that I didn't rant, and that I'm mature, and that I didn't pad out the video. Makes it sound like that's all I normally do.
I was going to buy that Arcee Red figure, but now I won’t. That is why you are awesome. With all the money people are saving by watching your videos and not buying horrible figures, they should have plenty of money to support you on Patreon lol I’m not joking. Great list!
I think Scorponok was in every conceivable way #1 on my worst list. I see what you mean on Rhinox, but I don't dislike him that much even though the transformation sucks. I like the Blackarachnia mold but I missed out on the 4 pack and actually wanted her and Fangry. Maybe I didn't miss out afterall...
The Scorponok was so heinous, a lot of people like it for some reason, I don't quite understand it. And yeah, as much as I want to like that black correct me a, the quality on it is just abysmal. But the Fangry puts its lack of quality to shame. The Fangry is trying to make being terrible an Olympic sport.
On the subject of Dai Atlas I have the mold as TR Overlord. I can’t figure out how the transformation on his upper half is supposed to work but I really like him personally. Nice and beeg and poses well, ankle tilts on a figure that old, very cool. Only looseness issue I have is one of the arms on his headmaster which makes closing the helmet annoying. Fun time otherwise
I don't have the kingdom Tracks yet, but I do have Road rage and I have to admit that I actually love the figure. I mean, the pegs in the legs should have held together a little better, but honestly, I think it's an enjoyable figure. I also love the look. It's pretty close to the G1 model
Just found your channel yesterday and I instantly subbed. Your fast paced style is perfect for me and my extreme ADD. I love your turbo fast style, don't change a thing dude! 😁👍
@@PerspectiveEnd I think you will get a kick out of this, I got my son into Transformers when he was 2. He's 5 now and has a massive collection. If i can't buy 2 then I don't get 1 lol He hated the Kingdom Rhinox so much that we blew it up with firecrackers. It survived multiple blasts so we ran over it repeatedly with a ATV and left it in a ditch in the woods near our house. He calls it like he sees it, he said that thing was junk 5 minutes out if the box! That thing is shit!
Personally er arcee is pretty much what the red line should have been ( at least the elita 1 and lifeline version of that mold ) in terms of figures and I definitely agree with you on these figures in which a lot of them should have been way better
The Kup figure is especially sad because I don't mind the face, I really like the sculpt they've got for it, and with Buzzworthy fixing the coloration, he actually looks like a really good and accurate 86 Kup... but with the issues I see people have with his limbs, I just can't justify picking him up. It's especially sad because the issue is so extensive that I can't see a retool or running change ever fixing it, since that would involve pretty much completely replacing all of his limbs, and that's way more retooling than Hasbro likes to do for most figures.
My favourite part is where you make me lose regret for missing out on figures I wanted that turned out to suck. Thank you. Wish you channel was more popular. You're one of, if not THE best 07
I found Tigatron. I like him. He's better than Cheetor in most ways to me. A few notes: He's a voyager. I know he's supposed to be bigger than Cheetor, but he seems very large. Maybe that's accurate, been a while since I've seen the show. Also, you should probably inspect the tiger face if you find him. The paint apps on some of the ones I found make him look cross eyed.
“More like its pants ha gote-!” Caught me off guard Number 15 burgerking foot letuce the last thing you want in your burgerking burger is someones foot fungus
Yeah I’ve got Kup, and I despise having to partsform the freaking arms every time I transform him. They could have come up with a better way to execute the arms falling off, but they have it loose 5mm pegs and sold it like it was nothing
2020-2021 has been really good for transformers in my opinion the only lines that i dislike are most of the r.e.d line and the earthrise line I can't wait what hasbro has to offer for 2022 with the legacy line and the rumored upcoming rotb studio series stuff hopefully hasbro don't mess up this year
Just got my hands on the Kingdom Pipes and while i was trying to find a good pose to put it in on my shelf, I decided to pull off the wheels that compact into his torso and stick them into the upper arm ports (this works because there is a mushroom peg that fits perfectly) and this improves the figure alot and makes him way more G1 accurate. I got it from an online store called the Gamesmen for about $40 Australian with like 10 dollars shipping so it was a bit more than a deluxe usually is, but Transmutate retails for that price regularly so I decided getting my hands on a Pipes and Slammer was worth the extra shipping. Slammer hasn't arrived yet and probably not till February.
Out of all the stuff we know from leaks and reveals, what’re you most excited for next year? If we know anything from leaks it’s that exclusives next year are about 30 something percent of the figures to be released which worries me a bit or more if you include gen selects as exclusive
The entirety of R.E.D LOL! I have Kingdom Tracks and he actually stands up good for me. I actually love the transformation. SS86 Kup is nice but that head sculpt is horrible.
Man I seriously hate that my Ark's Ratchets broke but it's still probably on my best figures for the year list. I still just love it. I mean the only problem I have with the figure is the materials. Which could have probably been solved if they didn't blow the budget on mainframe. I love the Ark's transformation it's so satisfying to do and I absolutely adore the robot mode. It honestly might be one of my favourite robot. And the ark mode even with the gaps is fantastic. If the materials were better it honestly would have been my best figure of the year. But I guess I'm biased considering it was also my most hyped figure for the year and the fact that it is my profile picture.
There are things to like about the ark, I do like the transformation, but for me the easily damaged robot mode that doesn't look cool at all at least to my eye is a huge down factor.
I could just come up with top 3. 3: 86 Hot Rod. Looks amazing, but he's not a Voyager and he feels super cheap. 2: Kingdom Cheetor. The paint is unforgivably bad, and he comes with the wrong weapon. But at least he had the decency to be fun to mess with. 1: Kingdom Rhinox. Doesn't look good in either mode, and he's not fun to mess with at all.
@@PerspectiveEnd I think I got 3 in total this year, mainly studio series figures. I can probably get 2 or 3 figures max a year now that I’m in college. Can’t throw around my money
I actually had to look that up last night because I thought there was no way that people haven't made it before. Like it's just so obvious. But it seems like no, I'm the first one to put two and two together.
That nr 1 is damn true, because the Zeta Toys version is better than any way. While sure the transformation is complex and such, but it's better than Mechanical Alliance version. Plus I've actually heard a rumor (that I gotbfrom Emgo316 at least and others), that the Mechanical Alliance Blitzwing was technically Zeta Toys first model that they gave to Mechanical Alliance and then Zeta Toys made the final product and released it. Not sure if it's true, but damn it would make sence (to me) if it is.
Great vid also what’s your opinion on gundam? Also for Christmas I got the rainmakers pack from Segoe and the generations sandstorm and there chest and sandstorms nose one and the rainmakers lower chest looks spilt very thinly like to the point where you can’t see it. is that a defect or just how the figure is made?
Hey, what if you did, for some anniversary, milestone or next new year some sort of "award show"? Like "most accurate", "best deco", "best transformation", "weirdest it's so weird!", or something like that
Oh yeah I've been waiting for this. Also who else wants to see this guy make a list of the worst figures. P.s why do most of the kingdom figures have the most hollow backs with a small amount of kibble bunched up in weard way that some how makes it worse I'm looking at you tracks and rhinox. offenders wi
Didn't I just do that? Also I'd not noticed that little problem being more prevalent in kingdom then usual. They often stuff the Kibble where the sun don't shine.
I also have ss 86 kup and was able to make the limbs less of an issue(from awful to tolerable) by tightening the pegs with super glue(do not put the limbs back on until the glue is dried)
Man how funny would be if I did put it back on before was dried? I mean it's not like you would make the figure worse. It'd just stay a different kind of bad.
Only thing about ol' Scorpius Jr (Farscape reference) I liked was his shade of purple. POTP Dreadwind has it too & I really want to see more figs sporting it.
Hey Perspective End! If I may ask, how often do figures break on you? Up until a small while ago I had never had a figure truly break on me until my Kingdom Beast Megatron fell off of the shelf and his knee joint snapped in half.
Oh man that sucks, I'm so sorry to hear that. I will say that it tends to be very rare for me. The funny thing is in tomorrow's video I talk about something that broke. I'll say that since I got back into the hobby I've probably had like 5 figures break, but I buy a TON of figures.
I can’t even make a list of 10 worst figures for last year, I’ve been lucky and rarely bought a bad figure, but I have a few, there’s only 3 I got this year that are actually bad 1. Buzzworthy fangry 2. Kingdom scorponok 3. Buzzworthy bumblejumper Yeah 2 of them are retools but to me it’s just any figure released in 2021, regardless of whether it’s a new mould or not
Idk why I’m watching this video it just came up in the rotation But while I’m here I want to mention I also put my rhinox at the back of the beast wars display like everyone else until I gave it to my cousin who’s too young to have seen beast wars and care about accuracy
RED Knockout owner here. Ab crunches that flex back to default position seem to be a staple of the line. Also why do his some assembly required back wheels rotate. The figure doesn’t transform there is literally no point
@@PerspectiveEnd I think you did a great job on the video and I strongly agree with your top 10 best with grimlock as 2 because it was great but the wheelie sucked.
PE: Top 10 worst is Kup Kup: You can't do this to me, I..I'm a supportive character. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SACRIFICED 😡😡😡 I'm personally glad I didn't get tracks because I already have the masterpiece Tracks, plus I already don't like his feet and the hood design on the car, I know they changed it to prevent legal claims but still. For scorponok in his robot mode on the back has huge hollows and TF figures with hollow areas annoy me.
Oh this Spiderman references. The masterpiece Tracks is way better. Honestly the kingdom figure is like a downgrade of that. Sometimes hollow areas bother me. I can say on the Scorponok yes they do.
Some personal takes on some of the figures mentioned: Something about Kup feels... off Like he's too skinny or his proportions ain't right or something Personally, I would've loved to have seen him proportioned more like his Generations counterpart, but just with a G1/cybertronian alt mode I actually really like the look of Worlds Collide Blackarachnia I really dig the concept of having original-toy-coloured versions of BW figures that were so radically different from their show designs Too bad Fangry's in a box set, who I have literally no interest in whatsoever The more I look at Ark the more enticing it is The hollow sides of the ship are really off-putting, but I don't mind getting a third-party upgrade kit to fix that My main issue is the fact he's Titan-Class And he and Scorponok alone are gonna destroy my wallet Tracks is alright; while I do exercise caution when transforming him because of the clear plastic, it seems fairly sturdy, he's perfectly serviceable, and I think proportionally he looks really nice The legs can be frustrating, not because they're broken or anything, but just that sometimes I forget the order of operations I'm more interested in Road Rage, but she's a US exclusive, so there's no hope in hell I'm ever getting my hands on her BW Scorponok is nice He's lumpy and ugly and I love him Only issue is the weird kink in the tail; would've been cool to see a fully posable tail, but I can see that bumping him up to a voyager due to parts count/costs Rhinox is perfectly fine... as long as I don't transform him Tearing off the back rhino legs helps quite a bit, but the fact his entire rear end is basically shellforming around nothing is just... eugh... At least the the guns store away nicely
Yeah, Kup is just wrong. In more ways than just the face. I also like the look of the worlds Blackarachnia, it's just that she's not built well at all. I needed to warn you of that since making this video at least two more people have told me that the shoulder ratchet on their Ark have broken. I hear the Roadrage is better, but I as a United States citizen have never seen her once in any Target. So you wouldn't be likely to have more success if you were here. For me a Scorponok it just falls apart too readily. I think is saying a figure is a fine a so long as you rip off parts of it is like saying of the figure is not fine.
I'm so sad that the world's collide blackarachnia (?) is the closest thing kingdom released to a tarantulas. Mf survived till the end, and isn't anywhere in the one BW line we'll get in a while
Idea: what if you did a what's the worst video. The basic idea is that you take the worst figure of each wave of the wfc and legacy, and try to see which among them is the worst.
I love scorponok, I like that's he kind of smaller because he always came off as a little bruiser. I never had the original toy but I did watch the show.
Apply some floor polish into the swivels on Kup to tighten them up. That should keep them from falling out. Just keep moving them for a few minutes after application, otherwise they'll sieze up.
I still feel like they'l fall out though. Like how does that prevent them from working their way down like they currently do? Even if they are tighter.
Honestly. Kingdom tracks is too *thicc* and his backpack... ok I’m practically convinced that hasbro hates car formers and would happily delete them from excistence
I fucking knew it, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought the transformation process of Studio Series 86 Kup SUCKED. Jesus, I thought that I was gonna break the figure through the whole thing.
Got to handle Kingdom Rhinox, it only looks passable by having him with his butterfly joints foward (It makes him look more buff from the front). But then the arms are stuck in place and it looks even more like a cardboard cutout from the sides. Plastic wise it feels awful as well, especially in comparison to Optimus Primal.
I like how the first two on the list aren't even terrible and depend on QC. My Kup and Black Arachnia don't really have any issues that i've found, but everything else is just why? Why are they so bad? everything else is beyond disappointing, and have issues that could've been easily avoided if someone took a second look and went "Hmm, that's not quire right." Because all of the bad official ones have problems that were easily avoidable. Especially the RED line. The MA Blitzwing just looks like hell to handle though
That actually really surprises me about the Blackarachnia. The plastic on that whole set is just so bad. It feels like it could break at any moment. The Blitzwing is awful to handle, but at least I don't question it just how they thought what they were doing was worth a damn like with the RED line.
When you said you wanted to support the underdog I had a feeling it was Blitzwing but I thought you reviewed it last year. Anyways, pretty much everything here’s I think deserves to be on this list. Luckily we got a lot more good figures this year, and Hasbro didn’t really mess up on any character that has an alternative either from Hasbro or 3P. Great job on the vid, that blitzwing is sadly trash.
FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO HATES THE KUP FIGURE! I don't mind the transformation. I like the grumpy face. That "fix me" gimmick.... I HHHHHHHHHHATE IT! It seriously ruined the figure for me, and confused the hell out of me that so many people like it.
Ngl I’m surprised Scorpinok is so high, it’s not good but it didn’t strike me as bad as Red Cheator or lots of things it’s above, when you got past 7 I thought he somehow missed the list
I ended finding the 86 kup and decided to buy and when I got home and unboxed it and tried to transform it, it took me almost 3 hours to transform it and the legs ended falling off like 7 times I completely understand your hate for this figure
Honestly red is good. (In my opinion.) But yeah they have some bad molds. I like red ultra Magnus and coronation starscream, prime knockout looks good.
I have to say with numbered 10 Studio series cup I am scared to transform the figure because the arm joints all coming off every single time I transform them and I do not mean the limbs that come apart But everything else was cup is good for me but that one thing legitimately ruins the figure for me.
honestly dude 86 kup i could see people hating in 10 years because of the pull apart gimmick wanna know why eventually the limbs will become so loose that they wont be able to attach or very minimal friction that if you move it it will just fall of. making Kup practically unplayable.
Ehh I think it's ugly, I don't care for the transformation, I think it was dumb of them to give him the halo of Kibble, and I think it's clear that they just didn't have any idea out for what they should do with it.
@@PerspectiveEnd cuz I hold your opinion in high regard. So telling me what I didn't miss out on this past year holds weight. But I already knew all that because I've watched your videos all year 😂🤘
