Ale ten półfinał z Sabine Lisicki, był taki mecz co Aga ograła Sabinę 6 0 6 1 i wtedy tamta płakała , że nie chce przegrać rowerem. Czytałem artykuł , że Aga nie chciała chodzić na siłownię żeby poprawić siłę uderzenia bo chyba bała się że będzie jak facet wyglądać . I to był jej duży błąd . Można wytrenować bardzo silne mięśnie i bez przyrostu masy mięśniowej.

People tend to forget that yes Aga never lost against Marion. But Marion played very well in that final, so you will never know how Agnieszka would've played in the final. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Agnieszka lost in a very close match to Marion for the 1st time. That would hurt more than loss to Sabine. We'll never know I guess. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But if that final happened that would be in Marion's head that she is 0 7 head to head. Well now Iga maybe will win a few more GS for Poland. Lucian Sanchez tbf in other matches against Venus both Strycova and Venus were very respectful and peasant to each other so I don’t think either hold any kind of hard feelings

What happened in the match?

Lee Maskell Strycova was complaining and generally making a big stink over a bunch of challenges Venus made that may or may not have been late (Venus was correct every time however.)

As much as I adore Venus... I think a couple of Strycova's outbursts were warranted... waiting nearly 10 seconds to challenge a call at one point! Strycova was a bit cray for most of them lol... but I do think a couple were justified...

@@falathrim4322 the Fed Cup non-handshake happened before the competition and in advance of play. There was a post match handshake in line with protocol. The non- handshake was explained by Bouchard and while i disagree with her approach to the matter i cannot really fault her. There are various dynamics that go on behind the scenes and in the locker room so to speak on the WTA and players have various ways to cope and to motivate themselves to win. I do not think i should tell a player how to behave. Frankly i would rather have the edgier competitive Genie back again anyway. In any case i think she realizes she may have made a mistake as 20 year olds sometimes do. Subsequent Fed Cup matches she shook hands in advance of competition. She always shakes hands after matches win or lose and congratulates opponents. I do not see her acting badly. She is way better behaved than most.

A few points before in the tiebreak, Voracova was at the net and the ball hit her racquet, then head, then went over the net. The umpire thought it was a legal shot and gave her the point. Everyone else knew the ball had hit her head after the racquet. Hon/Rodionova appealed and thought Voracova should have been honest about what happened. (I was there - that's my recording of match point from my phone!)

But only one of the 3 has been successful.

And some of them were not even grand slam first rounds
