Good question. I suppose it depends where you work... In my company time is money so replacing it is the fastest thing to do. We have 100s of brand new spare keyboards and mouse just waiting to be used.
It about time management when you actually doing the job. It will take longer to clean it and will affect the productivity of the person who is using the System in an organisation.
LOL yeah... we don't have time to clean keyboards it's much easier to replace with one of 200 or so brand new spares. Recycle company can do the cleaning.
Press Alt+Tab to see if you can switch to it in case it's running in the background. This can also happen when changing monitor resolution. It would open but on the side of monitor that you can't see.

It sounds like something on your computer is downloading and installing something on your computer. This could be computer updates most likely. Connect to Wifi and check updates to see if anything is installing... if so... let it finish what it needs to do. It may take a while. Also, you can check task manager to see what is using CPU power when fans speeds up.

Hi, it sounds like Hard Drive is loosing connection or power. If it shuts off by itself I would also check the power supply. It could also be overheating in which case I would check CPU heatsink/thermal paste or check for dust. If it's an older PC there is small chance that BIOS battery is the problem (bad bios battery may loose settings) but I think it's probably bad HD.
Hi, what do you mean. PC automatically shutdown? Usually when PC hard reboot/reset it can be caused by overhating of CPU. Could also be a PSU (power supply) problem.

That's definitely a hardware problem. PC could be overheating in which case I would open and clean all the dust. I would also check the heatsink and replace thermal paste on it. After that I would suspect bad PSU. If issues suddenly started to happen it may have happened under CPU load and if PSU went bad you can smell burning plastic. Go back in time and think if the last change that happened after which the issue started. That is a good starting point to figure what may have caused the problem It sounds like you have it working sometimes... in which case do a hardware diagnostic.
