These vids which a have saved to my account are amazing and have given me much more info than i got from I went through 8 years of my shoulder popping out for the simplest movement. My son was 4 when it started and i missed 8 yrs of been able to pick him up and throw him around, as we do with our kids. I had taught him to swim before an we would go the pool, which is basically next door to our home and have amazing fun with him on my shoulders an then jumping off. FFW 8 yrs and a minimum of 30 dislocations before i could no longer keep up, i had 3 anchors placed in and the Physical Therapy was so slow and going nowhere in a hurry so i packed it in. A year later ( THE LONGEST I'D GONE IN 8 YRS WITHOUT DISLOCATING ),I NOTICED WHEN I MADE CERTAIN MOVEMENTS I WOULD GET WHAT I CAN ONLY DESCRIBE AS SOMETHING LIKE A STING WHICH I CAN TELL IS MY MOVEMENT AND THE "ANCHORS", DISAGREEING ON MY RANGE OF MOTION. I have done the strengthening exercises connected to this injury in your videos and have for the 1st time ever, solid muscles in and around my shoulders, even taking care to work the smaller muscles. Now i need to focus on full movement. I know i could once again skip a stone across the water, although my confidence is grown rapidly, i'm not quite there yet. SO THE SHORT TIME I'VE BEEN USING YOUR VIDS I HAVE MADE AMAZING IMPROVEMENTS AND I AM SO ABSOLUTELY GRATEFUL. SO TNX A LOT AND GOD BLESS FROM DUBLIN, IRELAND.

I cant wait to try this.. thank you so much. I have dislocated my left shoulder as a kid from the ages 3-6 maybe over 15 times from what I know, but could be more than that. It got so bad to the point where one of my day care teachers (which was my grandma) would stop calling the paramedics and ended up popping my shoulder back in place multiple times through out the years. I have never in my life done physical therapy for my left shoulder even though it has dislocated too many times and I've always noticed it didn't feel like it sat right compared to my right shoulder, the irritation in it that goes up my neck/trap, and the weakness in it when I started weight lifting. I am 27 years old and every day I feel this discomfort and feeling that I have to adjust my shoulder every few minutes through out my everyday activities, even worse when I go lift. But thanks again for this video.

Hi! Love you guys! Question- I’m 40 and have RA. Aside from my hands and toes, I’ve had a ton of shoulder pain for over a year now. My rheumatologist said that I have hyper flexible joints which is making my shoulder unstable. They gave me pain meds but no advice for any way to solve the problem. Would these types of exercises be appropriate for me? I’d love to get some relief without relying on meds. Thank you! You guys are a crack up 😊

I HAVE DISLOCATED MY SHOULDER 4 TIMES IN THIS LIFE. THE FIRST TIME I DID IT I WAS 11. AND THE LAST TIME I DISLOCATED MY SHOULDER I WAS ABOUT 63. IM 67 NOW. I WILL CONTINUE TO DO ARM EXERCISES NOW TO TRY AND KEEP MY BAD ARM STRONGER. I DO ARM EXERCISES EVERY DAY. IT ONLY TAKES A MATTER OF SECONDS. IM GLAD I CAME ACROSS THIS VIDEO. NOW I CAN DO MORE ARM EXERCISES FOR MY BAD ARM. IM VERY VERY CAUTIOUS NOW ABOUT HOW I GO ABOUT DOING ANYTHING WITH MY BAD ARM. I TAKE THINGS SLOWER AND TRY TO REMEMBER NOT TO THROW MY ARM UP HIGH INTO THE AIR FAST. IF I GO SWIMMING I ONLY DO BREAST STROKE AND NOT OVER ARM SWIMMING. I FEEL NO PAIN IN MY BAD ARM UNLESS I LAY ON IT OR PUT IT IN A POSITION IT DOESNT LIKE TO BE IN. THE ARM EXERCISE I DO IS WITH AN ELASTIC TYPE BAND WITH HANDLES. I DOUBLE IT OVER AND I PULL IT OUTWARDS SLOWLY WITH MY BAD ARM. I DO IT ABOUT 9 TIMES PER DAY.

Thank you so much!. Your suggestions worked for me. I had begun having sore arm with sharp pains in the shoulder area from sleeping in a position I have slept in for decades. I am age 64. It took me about two weeks to figure out it might be something related to dislocation. The first day I did the isometrics and noticed a difference right away. The next day I could go to the band stretching. I do the band stretching several times a day now increasing the difficulty. I have to say that with the addition of a big pillow to hug I can now sleep on my side which is the only way I can sleep. As we all know "the Internet is always right". Thank you for your part in providing a gem of truth to that statement.

Thanks for sharing this. Due to COVID-19 I am unable to see physiotherapist. I dislocated my shoulder in mid - feb and wanted to go back to normal strength and I was a bit scared but now after watching your video I'll feel bit confident. I play cricket, fast bowler and mid order batsmen. With recent shoulder dislocation (I think this was 5th time after a gap of 7 years or so) I felt a bit low as I really wanted to go back to playing cricket. As we are in lockdown and wont have games for few months, I can take this opportunity to strength my muscles. I dont have much pain but dont feel confident in doing Y's or T's as this is where I dislocated my shoulder while doing indoor sky dive. I would really appreciate any suggestions and things to watch out. Great video, loved the team work. Thanks heaps, I'll try these exercises out and comment back here on my progress! Cheers

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR SHOULDER. IVE DISLOCATED MY SHOULDER 4 TIMES IN THIS LIFE TIME. ITS WORSE PAIN THAN GIVING BIRTH I RECON. I DONT EVER WANT TO DO IT AGAIN. I DO ARM EXERCISES EVERY DAY NOW TO TRY AND KEEP MY BAD ARM STRENGTHENED. I USE A BAND WITH HANDLES AND TAKE MY BAG ARM OUTWARDS SLOWLY AND I HOLD OUT SO IT PUTS PRESSURE ON MY BAD ARM. ONCE YOU HAVE DISLOCATED YOUR SHOULDER, ITS NEVER THE SAME AGAIN UNFORTUNATELY. I WONT BE HAVING MINE OPERATED ON EITHER. IVE HEARD PPL THAT HAVE THE OPERATION HAVE PAIN IN THEIR ARM ON AND OFF PERMANENTLY. I DONT KNOW IF THATS TRUE OR NOT. IM THINKING BACK ON HOW THEY USED TO DO THE OPERATION THOUGH. THEY MAY HAVE IMPROVED ON IT THESE DAYS. GOOD LUCK. IM NOT SURE WHAT YOU MEAN BY YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE BEEN RE BORN WHEN YOU DISLOCATE YOUR SHOULDER. MAYBE YOU MEAN THE PAIN IS HORRIFIC.

I was a sportsman at my college days and also a karate Black belt. Dislocated my left shoulder at 19 years at an accident in my college sports day. Frankly speaking, it was a big blow to my life ambitions. After that, dislocations were happening every now and then- during practices, sleeping even when wearing dresses also. To become a commando was my life ambition but could not full fill it. In my 40s I started practising KRIYA YOGA. It was really a miracle. Last 10 years not a single incident of dislocation. Now I am at my 50s. Kriya yoga has many recharging steps. Apart from strengthening our joints, I think it has increased my conscious level so that movement of our body is being controlled to prevent dislocations. Try it. Good luck.

Hi, I dislocated my shoulder 5 months ago and it still causes pain and just until recently I’ve had little movement in it. I now think I can do full shoulder rotation and all the movements, however with certain movements, if I put pressure on it, it feels like is dislocated and pops back into place. The back of my shoulder is really tight on certain movements and it hurts. Is this a ligament issue? Can I recover this by myself? I can not afford an MRI or physical therapy so I really need help. I want to go into the military but I can’t with my shoulder being this way. Please give me some advice. I’m 19 years old, about to be 20. I’m pretty fit but not the fittest I’ve ever been. If that affects anything.
