Youve been getting me back into death metal. I havnt been this into it for a long time. Mostly been on hiphop and chillwave synth music. Thanks for your videos man
Top notch stuff again! Wayfare and Varathon were the one I didn't know and really liked the former after giving it a listen. Don't know if it's me lately being more in a death/sludge/doom mood but I feel black metal has been somewhat lackluster last couple of years.
Agree with Marduk, but I don't like the effects on the vocals in some songs, on the top of my head I don't remember which one but on one track in particular that effect ruins the song a little bit. Also, the intro on Wayfarer with the drums is spot on, and the riff on the... steel guitar(?) that just screams Enrico Morricone, awesome stuff. Demonomacy sounds really interesting, got to check that out. Top of the morning to you!
cool list. gave me lots to go back and check out, its been impossible to keep up this year. will sugest 1 band for you to check out is deus vermin (if you havnt already) super nasty death metal big DIS vibe 👍
aha, a bootleg Bolt Thrower shirt :p No, I reaIly understand why :) I myself have two official tour shirts (2010 and 2014) and a Realm of Chaos shirt directly from Karl Willets as an ebay auction to support Kiddie's family. But okay, I live in a country directly across the North Sea canal, so Bolt Thrower automatically passed through here anyways for each tour
Machinedead I’d say 75% of the Bolt Thrower merch floating around these days is bootlegged. If Bolt Thrower ever sold merch outside of their shows, it would probably be different. I never got to see them live
I've been watching all your vids and been meaning to ask you, have you hear of Legion? They had the drummer from Marduk. I think you'll really dig their debut full-length "Unseen to Creation". Definitely worth owning on Vinyl. It's like Dissection and Dark Funeral had a baby. Some of the fastest yet melodic Black metal I've ever heard with a pretty clean and tight production. Check it out man ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xAA6aq5Gw_g.html
Buy from bands that you like, directly from the band whenever possible or at least their label. Try and preview albums before you buy them, blind buying can be tricky. Jewel cases can be replaced, digipaks can't. Just support the stuff you love.
I was hoping to see Panphage - Jord on the list, one man BM band from Sweden. I you haven't had chance to check it yet, I would recommend ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K5eb5z08SnM.html . Keep up the good work! ;)
