I'm not gonna lie, out of all the shows on this list it's Bojack Horseman i'm gonna miss the most, i mean don't get me wrong there are many other shows i'll miss too, but Bojack Horse has literally only a month left before it reaches it's end, unlike some of the other shows on this list that ended already.

I've watched bojack horseman about a million times now. It was the show that I never wanted to end. It was the reason I was able to get through some of my more darker times

The only thing I don’t agree with is the placement of Adventure Time. Adventure Time was a, in an exaggerated way, the start of a cartoon Renaissance. It was what inspired other creators to start there own shows from either just watching it as they were growing up or even working on the show, like Rebecca Sugar. It’s honestly one show that most of us did watch growing up, even if you stopped watching it you have to admit it made a lasting impact that we’ll all likely never forget.

Bojack Horseman is my favorite because it changed my life so much. It made me realize so many flaws I had with myself and the impact it has had on me by doing that is unbelievable

I think Streaming is partially the main reason. Lets be honest shows like Bojack would have never survived cable tv. Its a miracle shows like Over the Garden Wall or Korra were even allowed to be made. A lot of it is that on Streaming there's less executive meddling and creators are allowed to be more creative on top of less push for shows that will sell toys or ad friendly. CN got a little better with shows like Adventure Time and outright showing gay relationships during a time period where a lot of people still find that representation in kid cartoons controversial, but its over shadowed by them spamming Teen Titans Go and PPG rebooted. Nick is just plain awful and is a shell of the station it used to be. Also Over the Garden Wall is godtier

Regular Show, BoJack Horseman, Primal, Rick & Morty, Steven Universe, Undone, Sym-Bionic Titan (happy this is on Netflix, please revive it for one final season🙏), Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Samurai Jack season 5 are among some of my favorite shows of the 2010s. 😎 There's also been plenty of great anime shows that have come out in this decade as well. ✌

I think Camp Camp is definitely in my top 5 best cartoons. I love the writing, the humor, how they have these serious moments and then can immediately make you laugh just after it feels like you got punched in the heart. I love all the characters and how their personalities clash with one another, it's fun watching them interact with each other.

I’m only 20 years old so these rebooted shows hold no nostalgic power over me. With that said, my favorite out of all the new reboots we’ve gotten is absolutely She-ra. I’m kind of sad it’s not even an honorable mention on the list.

I would really like if you did a review on Atlantis: The Lost Empire. It isn’t a weird movie, but it’s a 2001 Disney movie that’s mildly obscure, but very underrated. I’d like to know your opinion on it. Or you can burn your eyes and watch the sequel. Oh boooy.....

Over the Garden Wall is basically a kid's version of Dante's Inferno... nuff said.

I cannot give any more praise to Bojack Horsseman. Best cartoon I've ever seen in the last decade, quit literally. Helps that I became an adult within that time, so it just hit home much more accurately and covered complex character building very well. I keep recommending for people who haven't caught onto cartoons yet.

I still believe that the avatar is still the most underrepresented series in all of Saberspark’s channel. Both the last airbender and legend series is rarely spoken of by Saber except in simple three second digressions... both shows deserve an episode at least.

My top favorite 5: 1. Gravity falls - made my fall in love with cartoons again (wouldn't have watched the other shows if it wasn't for GF) 2. Ducktales - love it almost equally with GF (it's pretty much the spiritual successor) plus I grew up with Donald Duck 3. Adventure time - I like the later seasons a bit better, but what a weird and wonderful show 4. Bojack Horseman - just wow, not a show I can get myself to watch a lot, but I can still admit it's really good 5. Over the garden - love the atmosphere, music and style, it's short and sweet Honorable mention: Steven Universe - Been a while since i watched it, but I remember it being really good. Also the fact that it tackles mental issues so openly has a lot of my respect

Mystery Incorporated was really good too

I see a few comments being upset that Gravity Falls wasn't on the list and it was barely mentioned. As a fan of the show, I think I can come to a conclusion as to why. (spoilers obviously) Gravity Falls does an amazing job at world building and with keeping up with its plot. Things really began to get serious during season 2 and especially when the author was revealed. However, a complaint that I always had with the show was the characters themselves. Yes, Dipper, Mabel, Soos, Grunkle Stan, and all of the characters are lovable to a certain degree, but to me most of the characters fell under a stereotype that they rarely broke out of. For example, Wendy's existence mainly felt like she was only there to be Dipper's love interest, which she didn't get a lot of time to break out of because she barely appeared in a lot of episodes. Pacifica Northwest also has this stereotypical rich and snobby family, which was only expanded upon when her house was haunted and when she was given a ride home on a rainy day that one episode. The character changes for most of the side characters are usually in the span of 1-2 episodes and then barely referenced again (with the exceptions of Old Man McGucket being revealed to work with Ford as well as Soos slowly gaining intelligence as season 2 progressed). The most bizarre example of this occurrence is when Candy had a crush on Dipper, which was never referenced in other episodes. A quick side point: I also believe that the show focused so much on Dipper and too little on Mabel, despite both of them being main protagonists. Dipper, at first, was so scared and confused by the town that he worked hard to investigate it and discover new and revolutionary things. Mabel, for the most part, was selfish and silly in serious situations. She mainly needed Dipper's help for when she was in danger, which doesn't help her character development at all. Even in the last few episodes, despite everything that her brother did, she didn't want to leave the trap Bill set up for her. The only groundbreaking thing Mabel did throughout the whole series was trust Stan to not press the button, which gave her the chance to see the world in a more serious light, but similarly to the side characters, she didn't really do that much. Well, that's just my two cents. If you read this far, I'm a little concerned lol

FINALLY! Some appreciation for BoJack Horseman. That show needs more recognition.

Don't be ashamed of liking MLP as a quality animated show. It was, and t was as much a game changer as Adventure Time was. Juts look at the state of girl-oriented cartoons ( a much larger share of the market than most people think) before and after it became popular. Likaly quality stuff like Amphibia and DC Super Hero Girls would never have happened without it.

I miss Wander Over Yonder. Great show but got treated so poorly :'( . Because they wanted to keep shitty shows like Pickle And Peanut going. Btw I love One-Punch Man but I hope season 3 is better than season 2. I didn't like it that much. But Dr. Stone I am extremely excited for for season 2. It's a fantastic new series. I agree about Ducktales btw. I didn't grow up with the original but I do like the reboot quite a bit. It's it's own thing but respects the original which came before it. I need to watch more of it because I haven't seen enough episodes. I am gonna miss BoJack Horseman so much when it ends next month :'( . Also excited for more Primal. I love pretty much everything Genndy has done except the ending of Samurai Jack and the seasons of Dexter's Lab when it got brought back.

I've just watched Over the Garden Wall for the first time today. I'd never heard of it before watching this video. Thank you so much Saberspark! Holy crap, guys, that was the best animated series I've ever seen.

Also, the Way Bojack’s universe parallels our...ahem, SoCieTy, is very impressive. For example, the scene with the orcas and their captivity being analogous to that of strippers was nothing short of genius.

My personal Top 5: 5. We Bare Bears - A show I initially wrote off as dumb annoying child fun...I was kinda wrong. It's not the deepest show, but it's still a story about fitting into modern society when you have little clue of how it actually works. I moved out on my own this year and I have no idea what I'm doing lol this show made it a little more understandable and...bearable... 4. Ducktales - What a reboot! What characters! Why is this show as good as it is? Saber kinda summed it perfectly 3. Gen:Lock - Rooster Teeth...is just awesome. I get their business stuff and scandals in late 2010s may have miffed off many people and understandably so...but to say they've lost their touch would be a lie and this show is a great indicator of that. It's gorgeous, it's clever, it's captivating and I can't wait to see what it'll do on HBO Max. I get that it's no RvB or RWBY, but it's still a welcomed addition to RT and was a highlight of this decade. 2. Gravity Falls - This show got me back into cartoons. I honestly was one of those people who believed animation and cartoons were for kids...I was so wrong. It's to be enjoyed by everyone and this show showed me that through hilarious dialogue, inventive scenarios I could only dream of, and an overarching narrative that deserves to be watched on repeat. HM: Regular Show, Rick & Morty, Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss (both are pilots so I'm not sure how much that counts), Bojack, and pretty much everything not Nick 1. Adventure Time - Nothing I can say can give this show especially in its later seasons justice. It's an epic that deserves to be appreciated with arguably the greatest series finale for any show. It's just...iconic

Over the Garden Wall easily took number one for me aswell. Every fall I watch it and I can't stop myself from loving it and noticing small details and jokes I didn't pick up on the time prior. I've probably seen it about eight or nine times now.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is not only my favorite cartoon from this decade, it is my favorite THING ever. Yes I know, I’m a filthy brony, but I don’t care. I still tear up at that last song. Great list Saber, I look forward to seeing more from you.

Not even a nod to the amazing Netflix shows “The Hollow” or “The Dragon Prince”? Okay, you’re missing out, but okay.

I think shows are expanding and all networks (except CC, FOX, and Nick) had something that improved itself and there aren’t much in 2020 yet in store but we already can expand to where we can get a new competitor. And that last line is true since one of my wishes for 2020 is having a new competitor on the TV and movie industry for animation, especially on animated movies.

I know your channel isn't centered on anime, but you should check out Mob Psycho 100 if you haven't already. It's story is made by the same person who did One Punch Man, but I feel like it has more going for it in terms of art style and story. I personally think it's one of the stand out pieces in animation of the decade, especially the second season.

I'm too lazy to rank all of my favorites on the spot, but one of my top shows would definitely have to be The Dragon Prince- lovable/diverse/relatable/morally gray characters, an interesting world/worldbuilding, a well-written main romance, etc. I know it's probably not an amazing subversive masterpiece but it honestly hooked me from the first episode

I was deadass sitting here getting nervous that OTGW wasn’t gonna make it, and then there it is! I watched it for the first time with a really close friend last Halloween and I’ve been in love with it ever since. Easily my absolute favorite piece of animation from this decade, if not of all time.

I would disagree with you putting Duck Tales over Gravity Falls. In my opinion, Gravity Falls served a similar function as Adventure Time. The show's slice of life episodes/monster of the week episodes with a looming greater narrative and bombastic, down to earth characters served as the blueprint on which the shows following it, Star vs Forces of Evil and Duck Tales would build upon and or mimic. Especially Duck Tales. I think you're really not giving Gravity Falls enough credit but that's just my opinion. I totally agree with Bojack and Over the Garden Wall.

Such a tough list for me but 5) Rick and Morty - just a fun not to serious yet sometimes very serious show. 4) Regular show - this show is just wild. Never knowing what bat shit insane ending will happen always kept me on the edge. 3) Ducktales 2017 - everything you said. 2) Castlevania (netflix) - not sure if this counts but it's just epic. I've always loved castlevania since my early childhood. 1) My Little Pony : FIM - this show had no reason to be as good as it is. I couldn't convince most of my friends that it was actually good. They all just called me crazy.

I do know there’s Final Space. Which is something that’s started out in TBS, then moved to Adult Swim for season 2. It’s also great to see that one of the RU-vid animators actually became able to make a series on television. I also began to realize that there is a huge theme of loss in the series. So far it’s staying strong. Very strong.

My top 5 1)-Gravity falls: I love everything from this show, thier charecters, humor, the plot, and bill cipher is my personal favorite villian in cartoons, great start, middle and end, and really this is one of those cartoons that I fell at love the first time I saw it, really made me more interest of this decade of cartoons much more that already was, so sad its already over:( 2)-Rick and morty: This was a very good fresh air on adult cartoons, I really love the charecters and the universe around them, I loved that sci fi style about the show and the humor 3)-Over the garden wall: Just like saber, great backgrounds, beautiful soundtrack, amaizing charecters, a dark villian and settings, a story that really knows where it goes, just like GF, and when I saw the show back in november 2014, I really loved the esthetic of the show 4)-Adventure Time: great universe, great charecters, and how the story goes its very fresh knowing the past of our protagonists and the world we know about them, and also I loved how the humor was, the ending even it was not perfect it made me hold a tear just like GF 5)-Star vs the forces of evil: I know it didin't end so well and season 4 and kinda 3 where wasted, but at least for me the first 2 seasons are beautiful, since I know their protagonists and the universe around them I really clicked on the show, and the story and its villian (toffee to be exactly) only did it better, even after all the kinda mess it ended, this show of the decade really holds a place in my heart alongside these other cartoons Honorable mentions: Regular Show, Wander over yander and Bojack Horseman

I think my top cartoons in no particular order would be: Star vs. The forces of evil, Gravity falls, Hilda, My little pony, and maybe adventure time? Adventure time got me through a rough few years. i watched the entire video and my heart was sinking with every minute that passed because OTGW wasnt even mentioned. I accepted that it was going to be overlooked again. And then you put it as your #1 and i was honestly so happy that i wasnt the only one who absolutely adored the show! It was a phenomenal mini-series, one of my favorite cartoons! And your list in general was honestly just fantastic (even if i didn’t 100% agree with it), and you made great points for each show. Great vid!!!

Boy I was wrong the first episode had me laughing. The characters are relatable, I love old school feel they have going on with its references, & songs (despite me being a early 2000’s kid.) So yeah that’s why I choose RS as my personal favorite cartoon of this decade. Also I had my entire family into it.

I was genuinely surprised to see Over The Garden Wall at number 1, because I feel like it’s been so overlooked. I think that within it’s 10 episodes it manages to touch mature themes, portray a strained relationship between brothers, and build the world and characters masterfully. There’s something so melancholic and mysterious, something so familiar yet surreal to the setting that I can’t help but be enthralled.

Lol after seeing all the honorable mentions I was like “there can’t be one that’s better than these c’mon”, and then it’s otgw, me: of course why didn’t I see that coming!
