Fun fact, the God of War novel actually fixes something you mentioned. While Kratos is fighting the Hydra, Athena is talking to Zeus and telling him about it. He actually asks "didn't Hercules already kill the Hydra" and asks if it's always been that big, since it's much, much smaller in the myth. The book explains that it's not the same Hydra, but a new one commanded by Ares. I just thought it's cool how the books try to fix some of the mythological inaccuracies from the games.

honestly mine would defo be gow2, i loved how kratos is pretty much the size of ares from gow 1, i even started making up rumors that if you get all gorgon eyes you turn into a giant 💀

@@ExtremeGameplays1 you are right Poseidon could have taken most if not all the titans by himself and all this without one of the strongest weapons in the pantheon, yeah, his trident, if Poseidon had his trident it would have made him even stronger, cause we all know one of the things that made Kratos strong were/are his blades

I wish the giant Kratos scene could’ve lasted a little bit longer, it would be cool to see more of Kratos crushing the tiny mortals and unleash his god powers like Ares did

My ranking would be 5. GoW4, I like the first cutscenes, the Troll is pretty fun and Baldur is awesome but everything in between is pretty slow 4. Ascension, I don't like the game but the intro is pretty cool 3. GoW 2, Colossus of Rhodes is awesome, also Blade of Olympus is one of the best weapons in the series 2. GoW, one of the best cutscenes of the entire series, the first boss, fun and an incredible setting 1. GoW 3

Its really hard to choose which one is better, gow3 or gow2. But in the end i had to choose gow2 because for me gow3 felt like it ended so abruptly. You fight poseidon like it's no problem, but the moment you reach zeus you got thrown IMMEDIATELY. Wasn't zeus supposed to be weak at the time? We just fought a few hours before that? And then losing all of the powers in the river styx is really depressing. I know river styx supposed to be like one of the worst things to be in in the underworld, but it felt really depressing just swimming and losing all your powers just like that.

Well, to be honest, Greek gods become stronger the older they get. This was proved by Kratos when a holding back Kratos was able to defeat the most powerful gods from the Norse world with little to no effort. So, it is only natural for God of War 3 Poseidon to be stronger than The Great War Poseidon
