Greetings from central IL! We’ve been watching your videos since last year when we purchased our pre-owed (but very gently used) 2015 179 and have found them extremely helpful. We love the camper but found we really don’t love indoor cooking so just wanted to mention that we use our electric appliances outside utilizing the outside outlet and placing the removed table directly under it. We also use an electric griddle - works especially well for breakfast items. Thanks John for sharing the R-Pod experience tips, tricks and cautionary tales. Happy Trails!

We just bought our neighbor's R-pod (after hearing about all the fun she's had with it the past two years) and now we're trying to get caught up on the ins and outs of camping as such. Thanks again for all the great R-pod vids.

Hey John! thanks for your videos. We have a 2018, Model 178. We have a piece that came in the refrigerator that we cannot figure out what it is for. I have a photo of it if I can send to you somewhere. It is plastic, about 12 inches long and 2 inches wide. The 2 inch portion is divided into 22 fingers! I think it is to hold things on the shelves but there is no info that came with the trailer. Any help would be appreciated.

Raven, That strange piece is call a "Dometic Magic Fingers" that goes in the door to help keep bottles in place. Unfortunately, I did not add this in the Refrigerator video coming out tonight. I like this one, I didn't know about the dishpan. I put one on my Amazon wishist for the next time out.I would like to know the measurements of your trashcan? I like the panini maker, we have been using those for years.For coffee I like a French press better, I use the Bodum Travel press and the Aeropress. I need strong coffee!I just picked up my 2018 two weeks ago, one time out so far.

I do not, but I would ask on one of the many R-Pod groups on Facebook. There are quite a few who don’t use the convection microwave and may be willing to part with it. The model is the HighPointe convection microwave.
