No no no, it's all about how you do it. These idiots did it all wrong. I've got people thinking my 2.7 eco is a diesel because I did it right and it's only going to get better. I guess I'll need to post a video of it eventually.
On my 3.5 ecoboost i have a 4' MBRP it has a great growl to it i also have a AFE cold air intake. MBRP 4' on my 2014 3.5 Eco sounds not bad is it a Borla no but I'm pleased with the 4' MBRP i may go a bit louder tho I'm thinking resonator delete.

Dang them true duals were loud! Didnt sound completely awful either. Im about to get a 2017 2.7l f150 and im thinking the simple muffler delete sounded best.
That last truck was not a ecoboost a true dual set up would of sounded just as bad but i did not hear any turbo and it has a flex fuel badge on the tailgate that only came on the 3.7l v6 and the 5.0s
i have a 2022 f150 ecoboost with an exhaust mod the best way to make it sound good is resonator delete and replace the muffler with a super 10 flowmaster muffler then do a drop pipe with a 5” exhaust tip. has a low tone and no civic noise
I mean I’m a GM guy so I’m all about v8, but people saying the ecoboost sounds bad are dumb, it’s 100% not the best sound but the sound of performance is always nice to hear everyone forgets twin turbo v6 engines are in f1 cars, and the GTR

The general consensus is the v6 eco boost sounds pants if you dick with the exhaust, just leave it alone and let it do what it’s good at, being efficient and returning more torque and bhp than most v8’s in its class. I have a 2014 3.5 eco boost and when fuel in the uk is £1.25 per litre I can live without that v8 sound because let’s face it, you’d only buy the v8 with less torque and bhp for the nostalgia and sound of a v8.

@@BigBootySeeker2 Not every V6 turbo application sounds bad. The first 2 that come to mind is the ATS-V engine, and the new redesigned raptor sporting a 3.5EB with the new trombone loop midpipe. Both sound great compared to these.
Last one sounds horrid. Theres only so much we can do with these ecoboost v6's. I deleted my resonator and put a better muffler and it sounds about as good as it will get for a v6. Also my 90 plus tune really enhances the sound with a more throaty sound. Great video and thanks for sharing.
I have an eco boost and that true duel setup sure sounds awful Maybe if he would've put the borla pro xs on then it might very sounded more decent and just a resonator delete sound good with the stock muffler
It should be illegal to change exhaust on a 6 cylinder. Not because of the environment but just because they all sound like absolute crap. The stock exhaust on these sounds amazing.
Ohhh boy … i hope i will never have to go to this engine 😢.. u ever heard a Fiat abar .. this is what this sounds like. I think the lightning makes a better sound., have the 22 yukon denali with the 6.2 and the new corsa with the quats and mannn thats a sound.
nobody should ever put an exhaust on an ecoboost. One of the worst sounding engines in production. There's a reason they pump fake V8 noise into the cabin. The quieter the better!
My god that last truck sounded terrible one of the worst exhausts ever..really it needed a X pipe to smooth out the sound..cause he has 3 cylinders pulsing on each side, so ..I’ve got a ecoboost , it’s hard to get a good sound, but I went to kooks down pipes ,and a single cab dynomax side exit behind the cab system , and we joined the two so it would work on a extended cab truck, it sounds pretty decent ..how come you guy don’t get a better welder to clean up your welds as some look pretty bad..unlike what you’d see at a custom performance shop,??
