Great question - you'll probably get a lot of contrasting opinions about Princess Anne Plaza. My take on it is that for the price it's not bad, though there are some specific things about the houses to note. One is that the neighborhood isn't fully in one school district. One section is Ocean Lakes and another (the western side) is Green Run. For the price, to be honest I used to not be as much of a fan, but in very specific spots I think some good value can be had. I don't like the spots that require flood insurance. In 2016 Hurricane Matthew came and really caused significant damage to some streets in the neighborhood. Though other spots didn't have problems at all, so it's extremely localized. So I would be watchful of that, as well. Another little note is that in some of the ranches with brick fronts, the brick connects with the front windows and often where they connect isn't sealed well, which leads to water falling in between the brick and the wall. Not automatically something to be concerned about, but if you're buying a house in the area and getting a home inspection, that's something that could come up if the house has that style front I'm referring to. All in all, I'm a fan primarily because if you keep the house in a nice spot and then rent it later it's one of the cheapest single-family house options in Virginia Beach that's also centrally-located. So in general I like them but I don't like the entire neighborhood, if that makes sense.
