In my honest opinion, the weight gain journey is frustrating with the limited amount of food options we have. For muscle growth, total number of working sets for a muscle should be 10 to 20 sets per week For eg. To grow my chest muscles, merko week me 10 sets karne honge (slowly slowly me sets increase kat sakta hu 20 sets tak) In sets ko main ek hi din kar sakta hu ya week me 2 days - 5 sets one day and 5 sets next day.
