AB is so much more fun. Hate to spend 15 minutes getting to a spot in RB only to be one shotted out of nowhere.

*Learning AB by playing RB...* *Honestly, that should be the opposite.* By playing AB first: - You learn to handle your guns, to acquire automatic reflexes in RB - The green cross will teach you the tanks weak spots faster - You'll learn what the 2 teams do on the battlefield which will allow you to guess better what the enemy is doing in RB - Being faster in AB, you will more effectively explore the maps and improve your knowledge of them for RB - If you are not seen in AB, you will not be seen in RB: learn the good routes on the maps in AB There are so many other similar reasons so that it is clear for me that a beginner should first learn the game in AB and then also play RB which is also a great game mode. Let me mention that both modes requires a very good awareness of your environment: in AB because everybody sees you; in RB because you do not spot easily the enemies...

Honestly, I’ve tried many times, and it’s always about camping, everyone staying at their spot, not moving, camping behind a building, able to shoot everyone but no one can shoot them. Even when having 4000points I just can’t enjoy RB. AB is about brawling, that’s why I love it, and you can’t camp, and it’s difficult to just go behind enemy’s lines, and one shot 10 tanks, destroying the day of 10 players who can’t even get out of their spawn.

I like arcade because it's faster pace and low stress.

Tip: PLAY CUSTOM BATTLES WITH BOTS! It will help you figure out what a new tank you just got will be facing and the enemy's weak spots without consequence. Its also satisfying

thank yu for the video, I have been playing for a year and didn't know half of this.

Note: AB ground in mid tiers still have people that throw tanks at the enemy and you will be flanked. I had 1 kill, 1 assist and 1 capture trying to spade the KV at 4.7 BR. My teammates died 3 times each with 1 only dying 2 times and I only died 1 time. I play AB because I can't see tanks in RB. 😂

There are somethings that you only learn in Arcade and not in Realistic. Most common of these is..... Well, 'Patience', I can wait longer, stay put longer, than most players. Camping is Staying put in one place and not moving, Having patience is knowing when to wait for the right time.

Main reason I play arcade over realistic is the pacing. Realistic is WAY too slow for me. I came from World of Tanks years ago, and that game has a quicker pace similar to arcade in WT.

very informative guide. there are a couple tips im going to employ . but i have a question - is it better to play war thunder on m@k or controller ? i play with controller atm, but everyone else in my squadropn plays on m@k . they seem to get better scoring when we match up in random games .

I play a lot of wot as well as WT. both great games. Arcade feels fast and brawly which I love. Air arcade is the mayhem I really like. The fur ball is life 😀😂

Tbh, I play AB when feel i lost a focus and cant concentrate enough to oppose maniacs in RB. But, there is a huge disadvantage - ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO SNEAK ON ENEMY in AB, or in best case you will kill 1, and others will see and destroy you. Biggest difference to me is THAT SPEED. I was stunned when first entered RB in germany 3.0 realizing my Panzer3 is not at all that fast. However, yes you have that geen reticule, BUT it happens VERY often that its green and you fail to penetrate him...

I go to rb because the whole point in picking a nation is to fight opposing nations imo. Doesnt make sense that as a german im fighting other german tanks. As a newbie i would start out in arcade and once you get the hang of it go to rb. Youll understand why more when youve played a couple games

I disagree about planing tank rb then going back to ab because it will make you better, at least not straight away. Any time i switch from rb back to ab i get creamed because I don't expect to be seen, that said after a few matches you get used to it again. otherwise good video.

Arcade is simply more fun for me. I don't have time to master every tank and map I play, and arcade gives just enough of a handicap to casual players while rewarding good play. Plus, it's chaotic as hell and can be really funny at times

my biggest nag for arcade is it forcing me into crew change which often kills me the most

I played RB for a while then switched back to AB. I win the first two rounds, and the very next round I get last place because everyone suddenly got good or I got bad and these Chinese players start trickshotting me.

I recently started playing war thunder, and even upload vidoes in my channel, but already, people are suggesting me to not play arcade because they said it's for noobs. I really don't know why some people in warthunder hate the arcade so much. I already reached 600k sl in just a month by mostly playing tank arcade.

I've had it happen where I get hit, catch on fire, and the enemy is reloading, about to blast me in the ammo rack. So I activate an attacker aircraft and seek out the skull icon. Very satisfying to wreck him with rockets or bombs while he's still gloating or in some cases, still trying to blow me up
