Here are some of the best gale mantra loadouts that you will find. Each loadout consists of 5 core mantras that are essential to its kit, which leaves some versatility up to your preference for what you want to do with the rest of your mantra slots. Let me know if you are interested in seeing loadouts for other attunements as well, or maybe other loadouts for gale I may have not included in this video.

Gale lunge masterclass next? Also you need to use wind blade, it's great for predicting and it's a pretty good combo starter with wayward on it

for me I use an agressive loadout (very similar to the first one, but I use wind passage instead of champion's whirlthro (even though I have it I just dont use it often) this is because i find wind passage good for gap closing especially if my opponent is running (like they usually are)

I feel like the mage/poke damage build would benefit more from gale carve than tornado. Tornado is great don't get me wrong, but gale carve is almost always free damage. I also use wind gun when playing aggressive because it combo extends off uppercut.

@@SpidersDWI did this build but with flame keeper cestus so I couldn’t really get that many points into my attunement. But a few mistakes I’d beware of: Always get frozen legs. It’s kinda op and u can’t mystic for it Get frozen pin cushion Make sure you still keep something that can put down ice Also at the time of making the build specter path didn’t exist but i think freezing wight procs with apparitions. (Go specter)

My aggressive loadout atm is wind blade astral wind wind carve rising wind gale lungs, worked well enough for me, haven't played in a while though, I also have a boss battle designed loadout but I forgot what it was, genuinely not a good loadout but it's meant for fun so I let it pass

Yo spider, what are your thoughts on gaze for a curved build? My loadout would be the first one but idk if i should go gaze insignia gem or exhaustion strike.

i'd say it sorta depends a bit on the specifics about the build, but imo exhaustion strike. haven't really seen many comp players run insig gaze but exhaustion strike is always pretty reliable. def up to pref for this decision tho

What are your opinion on mantras you didn’t list and what loadout would they fit most like in. (Wind Gun, Pillars, Wind Blade)

for those specifically, wind gun: prob best on mage build (loadout 3) but okay on posture and potentially useable in aggressive tho i think there are better options pillars: mage since it has pretty good range and aoe. not good on others, too slow and doesn't fit into the combos and is very easily avoidable without blocking wind blade: kind of in the middle on all, optionally use if you like it but imo gale has other stronger mantras you should almost always pick over it

remembering a old gale main named trunks, i always see him feint wind gun and it also doesn't cost a bunch of ether so you can feint it often

what are your thoughts on tempest blitz, i made a thunder specter curved blade build, and tbh, i like the mantra alot, really good for escaping and just nice lil mix up and good mantra to dissacotiate. what are ur thoughts?

seems pretty decent for overworld mobility but kinda hard to use effectively in PvP imo, due to it's slowish speed and not high enough posture dmg

watch my other vids xD. besides that, for second kit specifically play passive like i said in the vid but also try to avoid allowing your opponent to replenish posture by parrying or talents, etc. try to keep track of your opponents posture so you know when there is an opportunity to punish

Imo gale is pretty strong on it's own, but dual attunement with ice is pretty good too. freezing wight got buff semi-recently and is pretty similar to atdg now, so not too bad

Hey, spiders, what is your take on gale lft? Ik it's fist but it's pretty different from other fist weapons imo, so I didn't find the fist segment of that other video was very relevant to it. I love lft and I wanna make an lft build that isn't attunmentless.

a good weapon and a good attunement, so would be a strong combo. however, i don't really feel that they have much synergy since lft is usually pretty passive while the strongest playstyle for gale rn is aggressive. still tho since both are strong it'll still be good.

how do you feel about wind blade’s tempest wind talent? cus i feel like its more of a burden trying to fit it in fights alot especially with how you can shoot the projectile while airborne or how even if you hit it theres not enough time for many true followups

honestly, tempest wind is pretty mid. there’s tech where you can use it right after an aerial attack, but it only applies if the opponent either blocked or got hit by the aerial. normal wind blade is good as a roll-catcher, but is overshadowed by astral wind with mods.

gale doesn’t really need the range because it has some of the best mobility in the game. if you’re going for mage, there’s better alternatives

not a bad mantra, but although it's somewhat quick it's not rlly that quick compared to other gale mantras. plus it can be hard to extend off of it with the knockback + ragdoll. also doesn't exactly serve a clear purpose compared to other mantras (ex: whirlthrow for gb, rising wind best for combos, gale lunge for chase, etc)

@@SpidersDW I usually just like using it as a "counter" to punish people or catch people off guard and get a bunch of free damage, but I can see how it's just a worse astral wind in that scenario.
