@@drunkenhobo8020yeah that's problem. The Hilux would just hiccup and fart the explosive out shudder like it's shrugging and be perfectly drivable. They proved this.
People are idiots. People will forget about the Donbas, they’ll forget about Covid, just like they forgot about H1N1 and Ebola. They’ll forget about so many things and move onto the next topical, in-your-face moment of history.
I remember when this show was on and there was a apology statement in the newspaper over some of the jokes they'd say lol i remember Clarkson getting heat for saying Truck drivers are prostitute killers
Well, call the joke out years and years in advanced too. This ordeal has been a problem for centuries, and now, all of a sudden its the new series of the virtue signal powers of the government around the world.
@@simonhanlon7518 Noun. hot minute (plural hot minutes) A long period of time. An extremely short period of time; moment. An unspecified period of time; while.
@@simonhanlon7518It's a phrase that basically means that it takes a very short, but still noticable amount of time. Like, say, you order something in a restaurant and you don't immediately pick it off the counter, but instead wait for 2 or 3 seconds, you can instead say that it took that person a hot second to pick it up. Same goes for 'a hot minute', if the order was delayed slightly and took a minute to deliver instead of just grabbing the item and giving it to you in 20 seconds, you can say 'that took a hot minute' to indicate that it was longer than you expected, but not by much.
to be fair if you read the whole story you'll find that the catering was genuinely awful prison food and top gear was extremely successful, why did they have to eat fucking awful prison food. I am not condoning clarkson's actions but I would do the same given months of terrible treatment while working on one of the highest rated tv shows in the country at that time.@@sandeepk4093
@@ericmckinley7985 as if anyone cares what you have to say. Are people’s lives really this sad that they have to go round correcting people in a top gear shitpost comment section? (I am arguing in a top gear shitpost comment section)
It’s not hard to get. It’s also not very funny though, honestly. I suppose this is Top Gear though. Can’t expect the cutting edge of satire; more just standard japery. The edgelords in the house are clearly giddy over it though, so that’s nice.
Could you please explain the significance of the pipes? I assume the "alarm clock" refers to a time bomb, and the Toyota pickup truck as the car commonly seen in West Asian and African conflict zones, but didn't understand the pipes bit.
Oh gosh, I used to watch Top Gear around the time I got my first car. I miss those days. Getting old sucks. And the world doesn't seem to have gotten better at all since then.
This joke aged fine. I think it’s absolutely hilarious, this was probably just made by one of those 14 year olds that starts every sentence with bro and ends every sentence with a skull emoji.
Literally half the comments here say exactly the same thing. “On the contrary, I think it aged very well!/like a fine wine!” Daily Mail readers up in here breaking the mold. lol. Such free thinkers in your uniform individuality. 🙄 “This is joke yes? Joke good. Joke age well? Good. Actually I like joke. But I’m pretty free thinking ya know. Please give online validation. Good joke? Good joke. boho” *pats self on back for appreciating very basic and spelled out joke* 👏
This is funnier today than they could've known back then, because Hamas today bases their claim to legitimacy on an election in '06. So that's totally something that an actual Hamas member might want on their license plate
"You could've parked outside the palace at Westminster and nobody would've given you a ticket." If you parked it outside Cornell these days, you'd have white freshmen throwing free money at it and licking the tires as they bowed down.
A lot of people seem to have forgotten the Gaza War of 2008-9. When Hamas attacked Israel so the IDF launched a ground invasion that killed thousands of Palestinians. Apparently so did Hamas, when they did the same thing again on a much larger scale and provoked the same response ON A MUCH LARGER SCALE...
@@GhostBear3067 By 00:08 they say Hamas. Hamas attacked israel a week or so ago. I dont watch the news, but even flicking through channels on the new, or logging on to yahoo, to read some thing , Hamas is front page news. Almost impossible to miss. so those people who say , i dont get it, or what is hamas, REALLY need to get out more, open their eyes or ears, or do anything except play video games. It has been the lead story on every news channel the world over. I dont watch the news and even i saw it. and why dont people just google it, instead of asking in the comments. learn something , ffs.
What do you mean it “didn’t age well”? The joke still means the exact same thing. The Hamas they’re talking about is the exact same Hamas that’s in the news now
