For real, the man switched guitars in no time flat and picked right back up where he was mid-beat. He handled the break like such a champ, too. If I were watching the video with no prior context as to what happened, I wouldn't have even been able to tell the string broke.
In 2001/02 I was at a show at Hockenheim Ring in Germany when Buddy Guy was opening up for AC/DC. He was approaching the end of his set but the crowd kept heckling him shouting “Negga!” Buddy was so off put and disgusted he walked off the stage and his lead guitarist finished the song. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing, considering that Angus himself probably saw Buddy as a huge influence in his guitar playing. Just wanted to share that. God Bless.
