@@caellanmurphy4751I think he meant the voiceline at Ultimate *Activation* not the voiceline mid Ultimate. Example Gepard’s “In the name of Landau”. A lot of characters do have different voicelines depending on speed

This is a very inconsequential feature I've wanted since launch... Our own cabin in the Express... Kinda weird we don't actually have a living space on the train when everyone else does... Also for gameplay please add a block/skip action button cuz being forced to attack killed me more than once against certain enemy gimmicks Edit: thanks for all the likes I'm glad we all want our raccoon MC to finally get a place where they can store their trash cans at 🙏

facts to both, third one id add (altho maybe vars mentions is) is a way to sort inventory LC by class, weird that you can sort by rarity, level, hp, but not sort by nihility

To add on they should add an ult cancel button since the amount of times I've misclicked on the ult button and fucked up my run was not fun especially when I use my harmony units 😭😭😭

Adding an action to either skip ur turn......is stupid........cause that is apart of the games function in that sometimes u need to attack the enemy, and need to figure out how to deal with the consequences

Yes please I also want my own room to chill in. It was really jarring to find out that the trailblazer doesn't have a room and now my headcanon is that we just freeload on march's room xD

I propose a different change to self-modeling resin: I think Self modeling resin should allow you to change the main stat on piece of gear you already own. I cannot talk about how many defense boots I have with both types of crit. Or EHR chest with crit, atk, and speed. Obvious, if you were to change something like DEF boots with speed already on them as a substat into speed boots, it should just reroll the speed.

Honestly this idea is what self modeling resin should have been but they won’t ever add it cause it’ll make grinding relics to easy to the point people will stop logging on daily which they want also makes it where people are less likely to whale on fuel resets just don’t see them doing it tbh which sucks

@@zerovking7629 i mean... self modeling resin isnt really a thing that gets given multiple times per patch so you still want to get back to grinding since you could just select one stat change and even then there is chance of substats going trash

This would be great but I see zero chance of this happening. It makes getting the 'perfect' relics too easy: they might just as well do away with (or at least ease the stat bias in) relic farming RNG. You know the RNG exists in the first place just to artificially slow down the process of building characters.

Maybe this is a hot take but one of the things I like about mihoyo games is their utter lack of forced cooperation, despite being online gacha games. Nothing sucks the enjoyment out of a game like this faster for me than being stuck trying to clear a weekly boss alone because every single member of my guild hasn't logged in the past month, especially because in those games you want and need those rewards. To me it's like adding pvp to hsr: I don't want that either. I'll take grabbing people's support units when I'm farming and then go back to my single player experience over that aggravation any day

PVP would be awesome, but shoudl seperate peaople based on how much they spent or how much the chars are built they s1 e0 or s0 e5 s2 e3 eta eta.

Yes! I found the whole gild thing the most annoying part about other games because when I needed help the most was in early game and that’s when none of the gilds want you… I think hsr actually has the perfect system when it comes to a shared online gaming space

i have a team on a calyx (i forget which) with a support Argenti that does two skills and then uses his ultimate 7 consecutive times and it’s the best thing ever

The number of times that I had a two element team and only one damage dealing element and Silver Wolf would use skill points to change the element to the wrong one when it was already the right one and my damage dealers would not have skill points. Or Loucha using his skill to heal someone when his field was up and they would have been healed in a couple attacks anyway

Fun fact: 3:35 Spiral Abyss has been tracking stats such as "Damage Dealt", "Most Damage Dealt in a Single Blow", "Damage Taken", along with more niche stats like "Most Bursts Used", and "Most Skills Used"

the relic issue is so real. day 1 daily player and so many of my characters have dogwater relics because there is not enough TP to go around before the next character (even if i don't pull every char) to level both traces and relics properly and especially the latter one and the last 2 trace levels are so unnecessarily expensive...

Yep every day I log in I spend like 20 minutes staring at my TP debating if I should go for trace mats or try and get some artifacts or try and get some planar ornaments… it’s the downside to everything being available every day, it becomes harder to plan out your power spending for the week.

I'm gonna call this a skill issue man. You don't need 10/10/10 traces for everyone. If that's what you CHOOSE to do however, that's fine but not something to blame on the game. As far as not having good relics, you probably have perfectly serviceable relics that you're ignoring cause they're not absolutely perfect. Sim uni is it's own issue, but if you have THAT MANY BAD RELICS that you have no idea what to do, you really REALLY need to start actually using the salvage system and crafting your own. Relics aren't hard, perfect relics are. Which is exactly how it should be.

@@risen9127 I still say in comparison to e7, this game as a turn-based RPG actually does this better in terms of everything besides the self-modeling resin. I get the problem is energy which I agree is a massive problem but that is more of the energy system being ass instead of the relic system.

I definitely agree that the devs should implement an option to cancel the character’s ultimate!! I’m honestly so shocked that they still haven’t actually added that feature in the game yet. I mean, it’s pretty common for players to accidentally activate an ultimate anyway… Another feature I think they should also add is having unique interactions during battle. Like if Bronya buffs Seele, she could say a unique line.

Considering they literally said they took inspiration from Trails series, the non-cancelable ults is intentional game design Telling them to change that is like changing the current complex action value system for the simple speed system of RPGMaker

The part about unique voice lines I think easily harkens back to when we had to have Jing Yuan on the team when facing Phantillia for the first time: "Vanquish the Abomination!" "I am the Vanguard of The Hunt!" Etc

Yeah we really need ultimate cancels, a better relic system, random ultimate voicelines for more variety (at this point I play with the sound off and then just turn it on whenever I'm playing voiced quests), and story chapter replay so we can test out all the dialogue options without Googling them!

ultimate cancel is facts, I swapped my team order around and so many times I fatfinger ult for 3 instead of e, or use the wrong ult in the wrong order

I totally agree that Self Modelling Resin is so restrictive that it's basically irrelevant. You get them so rarely that the only time I've ever used them is for ER ropes on my Supports where the substats don't really make or break anything. For something that you usually only get 1 of per entire patch cycle they REALLY need to be more impactful.

Ok here are my ideas for relics substat changes First recommendation They could add a restriction substat option while we are farming like how we can restrict some paths in simulated universe gold and gears. Maybe give us the ability to restrict 2 or even 1 substat while farming to make it less exhausting 2nd recommendation - Same as first one ,but while leveling up relics 3rd recommendation - Maybe they should add option to replace the main stat from a different relic. Let's say you get a def relic with really good substat. Maybe a special resin will allow you to change the def main stat to atk

Personally, I would get rid of flat atk/Def/HP substats. I would much rather my dps get a unlucky roll into hp/Def % than into flat attack, as being a turn-based game with no way for your characters to block or avoid damage outside of shields, survivability matters a lot more here than in genshin. Your sustain units can't sustain your dps if they die, and asfaik only bailu and gepard have revival abilities outside of SU buffs.

1) Farm sequence for artifact domains. 2) Planar set accessibility rework. Either add Skip button in SU to go right to the last boss, or move Planar sets somewhere else outside of SU.

Maybe one thing they can do with boss raids is a global boss, where if its defeated or if something like a total damage milestone is passed, everyone who participated gets the same rewards

Yeah I think the absolute biggest issue is easily the relic system. Easy ways to graft or reset relics would be a fantastic balance while still having a grind. I just want to diversify my grind, getting the traces, varied relics, and upgrade materials for other characters. It would be a big game change, but I would love a universal “Pass” action instead of guard. Maybe even let it generate SP and have a generic bonus based on Path (-Aggro or maybe +Action forward for Hunt, +Energy for Harmony, tiny self heal for abundance, +def and +aggro for preservation, +atk for destruction, +EHR and break for nihility. I can even imagine characters having special skills or talents that interact with a Pass action. But YES I want more interaction with other players. It’s a little lonely in comparison. New action, relic fix, and player interaction are my big three wants

YES. I wish they would add an option for relics where you could pay even 500000 credits to reset it back to level 0 while keeping the substats. It shouldn't be too cheap otherwise getting the "perfect" relic would be too easy which would lead them to not make the change

The self model resin reset is something I’ve been wanting forever. All these double crit pieces I have only to roll into flat def like 2x but have like 10 crit rate also

click pause button in a battle or setting in the phone menu, then switch the auto ult in battle during auto mode to manual

11:10 I think what you described here kinda already happens in Pure Fiction, where you have to use specific tactics to gain points, although yeah, brute force is always an option, even if mostly just for Dan Hang and Jingliu

After coming back to HI3 for the Part 2 update, I noticed that banners actually have a counter for pity, which will be a little bit helpful for players to count their pity if they put the same mechanic in HSR. Also, I'd LOVE to see the animated banners for characters, and preferably make it a setting to toggle it on and off, it's not much but it's more beautiful, as they already make animated splash arts in their website for new characters when a new update is about to come out

The relic change I'd propose... is just to remove all the flat stats in your substat options (HP/ATK/DEF)

I think the real reason HSR combat feels more generic and barebones is because the elements don't really interact with each other (aside from DoT in a way). While it clearly destroys gameplay to add the equivalent of elemental reactions in the game, I think adding the persona equivalent of technical damage in the game would improve quality way more and improve the use of a lot of units. Like for example inflicting a lightning DoT on an imprisoned enemy can cause it to bounce between some enemies at say 25% worth of the DoT damage for only on time, would make people try and build their teams around using these mechanics. While clearly a LOT of balancing will be required and making sure it's not super OP that it outranks well built DPS numbers, I think it will open up team building to more than just running units that synergize with each other kits wise.

I just wish new players can get the free light cones from previous events. Honkai Star Rail can be somewhat intimidating especially if they don't have proper light cones for their new characters. Giving new players access to free light cones would make their experience less stressful thus making them play the game more instead of quitting right away.

Oh, the pain I felt when I was building my Pela and in every single f*cking guide I saw it said 'Before the tutorial mission starts' (From an event that was only available in 1.1) was her best in slot is indescribable. Now I run her with the resolution shines as pearls of sweat LC because Acheron.

The one feature I've been asking for in both Genshin and HSR since their release is an artifact/relic reset system. It happens so often to find a relic with 3 or 4 perfect stats and here comes +4 to flat Defense or everything into Atk% instead of crit or speed! Resetting the artifact back to +0 and rolling it again at least gives us the comfort that we can stop farming since that relic is already done, we just need a good reroll. And for multiplayer content, let's make proper Raid fights for 4 people instead of Whale races. Pokémon does this through Tera Raids and I'm sure Mihoyo could do something similar with Raid Bosses, where you can set an assist skill to help other players (similar to Dan in the Phantylia fight), everyone can collaborate with each other through buffs and healing, and maybe play with friends.

A post battle stat screen would help me so much. Just seeing the numbers would help me understand the characters better and would help out with light cone testing too

I feel like in regards to gear, it seems a bit wrong to compare Star Rail to Genshin as the farming is entirely different. Yes it is made by the same company but the time you spend grinding is different just due to inherent gameplay differences. If I compare this to epic seven, they are drastically similar in the level of rng needed but the one main thing that would be good is to get the self modeling resin more often AND to get a way to forcibly reset your gear to no exp so that you can reroll your substats.

What the game also needs is more ways to incorporate the elements into combat than just toughness break. You can easily brute force with for example Jingliu without the enemy being weak to Ice. Also, I have a video idea: „What happened to Jing Yuan?“ In the beginning, he was considered a mid tier unit at best amongst the community, but with each patch, he got indirectly buffed in some shape or form. The inclusion of all the broken supports, the release of Pure Fiction and other external factors led him to unironically being able to compete with the other top tier DPS units in my opinion.

Auto Battle customization might make it too easy. but i would love if they can implement FF12's gambit system where you can tell the AI to react to specific moves (dispelling a priority target, cleansing allies that are CC'ed, immediately healing when below a certain HP treshold, etc.) it still won't let Bronya / Sparkle have a good auto battle AI, but at least you can be confident when auto-farming that your team won't die just because you are doing something else in the mean time.

i think a better approach for the auto battle was to either keep it and add this following feature or replace it by a system like how Reverse 1999 does where it basically repeats that same fight you had which also had the least amount of turns you were able to do. it's basically like recording a video you can repeat all over again where you cannot change anything unless you override or rewrite it with another fight that has less turns cuz you probably got better stats on your units. i found this very revolutionary for my time with Reverse 1999 when i cannot be bothered to farm manually or like possibly make my units die because the ai messed up a little.

I think they could add a generic "Guard" option that consumes a Skill Point to use. Since part of combat is designed around not having a choice to "do nothing" (Silvermane Guards for example), not attacking can only be balanced if it sacrifices another resource instead. Maybe generate 20 Energy like a Basic attack too?

Funny how Blue Archive was used as an example of co-op raid bosses when the only co-op bosses were Wakamo Hovercraft in the Abydos Summer event and Vol. F's release. The only use for guilds in Blue Archive is to borrow other peoples students and get 10 stamina daily.

one thing that really grinds my gears are the forced tutorial parts on every event. They force you to use ressources, create the first "thing", open up tabs, when I just wanna see the event. Especially when you open the events menu for the first time and you just wanna look at it but it forces you into 3-4 specific sub-menus and do all the stuff.

i’m so glad you brought up ult voice lines at the end! i can’t believe i’m saying this lol but i wish HSR would be more like genshin and give each character at least 2-3 different voicelines for all their actions (ie: ults/attacks/opening chests/etc…) i feel like it would just add a lot more personality to each character! also i saw someone else mention it in the comments but i also wanted to second the idea of us getting our own customizable room/cabin on the express! i’m already a big fan of the teapot in genshin so i’d love to design a little room for myself in HSR too 🙌💖

Back in CBT3, there WAS a raid event that granted rewards based on if you discovered the boss as well as how much damage you dealt to it, with every run having a limited cycle number. In fact, the npc right outside Herta's office mentions the name of that event. I don't think we got it because of how powerful players could become, so one shotting even the hardest difficulty was pretty common.

I think you can disable ults in the menu, so it's shown that customising auto battle is possible. We just need more options.

While not quite the Gacha game that comes to mind of many Cookie Run Kingdom it has Guild battles and near non existent co-op but currently they have an event where players fight the same boss together just like a guild raid but without guilds and rewards are given on participation and how much damage deal. I think something akin to that could be implemented.

QoL update to the Self modifying resin allowing us to choose at least one sub stat along with the main one we pick. I am sick and tired of using a resin piece to get speed boots or crit damage or crit rate body piece I end up with shity sub stats with flat HP Effect Res, and effect hit rate for my DPS.

A summary and my own thoughts. Mechanics changes: 1. Ultimate cancels. This would be quite nice I absolutely agree and see no downsides to implementing it and I feel like it would not be time consuming to create nor unwarranted to ask for. 2. Autobattle customization. I think a little more min/maxing than ultimate cancels, because most players aren't paying much attention during autobattle, so it would be a nice addition but I feel its not a huge need. A nice QoL to solve more sweaty players annoyances but still a smaller concern that would take more time and effort than ultimate cancels. 3. Post battle results. I can see the benefits for this, to compare and contrast your units performances with each other and make it easier for guide makers and in general anyone needing help building their characters. I'm not positive how much effort this would take but this is a reasonable QoL to add. 4. More auto battle clears. This 100% absolutely, I'd love for this type of QoL as soon as possible. A lot of times I want to spend all 240 of my trailblaze power on that calyx and having to press repeat battle after only 60 can feel tedious. 5. Skip button. I personally would not use it but its a QoL that a good amount of players would appreciate having. Not much to add, people would use a skip button if they wanted to. Content changes: 1. Using items mid-battle. I think this one is fine if its only usable outside of Pure Fiction and Memory of Chaos. Simulated Universe already has a similar food mechanic during SU. I personally would not like food buffs inside PF/MoC because they would balance it around using said food buffs. Otherwise, yeah, it's a decent QoL and not out of the realm of possibility. 2. Boss raids. It would be fun to see some semblance of co-op mechanics in HSR whether it's people on your friends list/strangers or a guild system to slowly chip away at a mega boss' HP pool. They could even do a server-wide boss battle where everyone in a region is contributing towards the boss' death. I don't see them adding such a feature however, perhaps during 3.0 or later possibly? It's just not a system I would expect even though it would be enjoyable. I feel like this is a system that would need a lot more thought and effort to ensure minimal outrage. 3. Self modeling resin rework. Maybe? This is probably more contentious than the raid boss idea. Changing the whole item to function better would piss off a lot of people who have blown all of theirs already. Sure, it would be nice if self modeling resin was more efficient but they would make it *less* obtainable with that new system, not easier because it guarantees you better results. Three of them a week is insane and reminds me of "remove daily trailblaze cap" complaints. It's a deliberate way of having players farm for gear on a long term basis that keeps them logging in every day, gacha games do not meddle with gear systems lightly and almost never make them easy. This is a change that is "I wish I was a millionaire" type of dream, basically never going to happen of ideal. I'm not saying it's a worse change, I'm just saying it's basically an impossible change because of how friendly towards the playerbase it is. 4. More challenge based combat. I could potentially see a new type of interesting game mode, especially after the Pokémon event they could probably implement permanent monster/boss battling like that. It'd be neat. Special challenges with trial units only and having to complete a game mode with them would also be enjoyable. I don't see it happening anytime soon? But that would be a nice surprise to shake things up. 5. Replayable story. Ever since we got replayable events I've been really wishing to see replayable story quests as well, of course it would not give extra rewards for doing it. It would just be to experience the story from specific chapters and quests like choosing from the Atlas and click a "repeat story" button. Would greatly enjoy seeing this change and I think adding it to the Atlas would fit perfectly. Hope it happens soon. Overall it's a pretty good video with some really optimistic ideas, some of them more really far fetched but overall 10 changes that genuinely would help the game to be better. I think videos like this are good for a games health, and discussing changes is important. It should go without saying that the playerbase shouldn't expect to see these changes in a few patches, it's simply good changes that would be nice to see in the game and the developers might consider other QoL to be more important. PS. Please add relic loadouts. I'm begging you Hoyoverse.

I like the idea of challenges a lot. An easy way to do it would be adding it into the trials, for example you get the trials like we have now, then add in a challenge with that specific character and a decently built provided team. This would showcase the banner characters even more and give players a chance to really try them out and potentially want them even more.

Definitely agree with all your choices! Maybe they could implement a 'raid boss' system that would be sort of like, if a player fights the boss they get points, if they defeat it they get more points, the points all go to a giant pool across all players and if this giant pool of points reaches a certain threshold everyone who participated gets a reward, that way newer and weaker accounts could still join in the events and help and get something for it. There could still be a high score system where the people who contributed the most points could get some kind of trophy, but yeah maybe in that way weaker accounts wouldn't be gatekept away? Being able to use items in battle would also be great tbh

Self modeling resin as is is a fantastic thing, but it would be nice for it to be more accessible, even if locked behind end game stuff. I’ve had such a hell of a time trying to synthesize a lightning orb for Kafka I’ve used so many just to still not have a good one. The issue is refilling a substat wouldn’t be any easier because there are only 2 (maybe 3) substats she cares about and the one I can’t find (speed) is the rarest to roll into, and her best sphere right now didn’t roll atk% even once. I would much rather just be able to look at more lightning damage spheres

I think that the boss raid mode could work if they made an eight-unit battle where either two players each have their party of four or four players each have two - the latter is what an old game I used to play, FFRK, Final Fantasy Record Keeper, did. However, the issue with the latter would be that it would require a lot of planning, whereas with the two teams of four would allow players to plan their teams in a lot more of a standard way and just run what they use in single player with, some minor tweaks if communication is available...

2:06 even as a casual, i'd love to be able to do this! i'd also like a skip/defense button in battle. there are some times when i need to, to avoid certain gimmicks in the battle. 7:00 being able to use items would definitely be good for someone like me who struggles to get past MOC 8 most of the time xDD tuning the relics would be so good! cause most of my characters are still rocking relics they got when they were on banner. i'm out trace/LC materials too so i need that as well along with relics 13:04 lol please! more battle voicelines!

There needs to be 2 auto battle functions, the one we currently have (ai) and another one for after beating a fight, recording the actions made and playing it through during replays although this would only be good for farming, it would be very helpful when your fighting things with unique effects instead of having the autobattler losing because of the unique effects.

Being able to find bosses in stagnant shadow like locations to "practice on them" could be a good idea. these would unlock after story/side mission events, and you'd be able to fight the bosses at multiple difficulties (multiples of 10), each unlocking after beating the previous difficulty. These would only give credits and materials not strictly required to progress in the game. There would also be an easy mode (single phase boss) and a harder mode (Complete boss) As for locations, you might find Argenti in the area of the train where there is stairs leading up to a "balcony", and you might find Swarm: True Sting on the middle floor of the seclusion zone after defeating a formidable foe challenge Because grinding my way through MoC to get boss achievements i forgot to get in the story is not my area of expertise

10:50 This reminds me of MOC 12 this cycle facing Something Unto Death, I keep running out of cycle to 3* it but I found out that when your character gets captured and retrieved you get full energy, so I let my Welt get captured on purpose on phase 2 to get a second ult to clean it up and got my 3* from that

Raid battles can be done like in the pokemon game sword/shield and scarlet and violet, it could also be a bit like FF where they need to have supports, sustain and dps, depending on your character you end get randomly thrown in a party that needs your role unless it’s a custom party with your friends then you can do whatever. There is ways to add multiplayer to turn based rpgs.

I like the idea of guilds and guild effort... My take on this is... Make it like "an invasion", where lorewise its thousands upon thousands of enemies, but everyone from the guild is trying to beat a handful of those. They scale to your characters ( Ultimately multiple variables, like is the character 5*, does it have its light cone, stats of the character ( ultimately not that hard to implement, you have database of characters, just add what the character scales from and then take that into consideration ),etc. ) and then when player defeats it, it goes into a progress bar for the guild. Once per day What about puzzle fights, where its not about winning, but certain different things.... it may be "deal X damage to a dummy using those trial characters" or "survive onslaught of attacks" and you will have to do your best to do so.

I’ll admit that I also thought of the idea of using Self Molding Resin to change the main stat, but the substat idea is arguably better overall. It would make Speed tuning easier anyway. Also in regards to replaying the story, we already have the Fate’s Atlas menu, so it would be pretty organic adding a “Replay” button to the specific missions there.

For the autobattle, one thing I'd like is a customizable for characters, say I want Pela to only use basics, I can set that there, and no matter the reasoning, Pela will never use her skill, she just basics and ults when she has it.

Sheesh I agree with these things you named: - Ult cancel, sometimes I accidently click on it and then cry sad tears xD - presets for auto-battle, my supports can act really stupid - skip event dialogue, just like you, I try to rush these events on the last days xD - using items in combat, would be a nice QoL update - Changing relic system, the substats reroll would be such a nice feature. Honkai Impact 3rd already has something similar. Hopefully, they implement it in Genshin as well, because DAMN Personally, I would love to see something more strategic, for example a Dota Auto chess/TFT mode would be awesome or more a cozy feature, a housing system where we can decorate like the Serenitea Pot

enemy enter counter attack stance check UI normal attack, Skill that also attack and Ultimate that also attack basically unless a skill/ulti is just a buff you will be countered I will be honest no matter what endgame they put it will be the same use the correct elem/character with the best relic/LC they cant really diversify much to a turn base game as such I can never understand the hype for them

What would that be though? How would it even work? Most star rail maps are 1 large room or a handful of hallways connected to each other. Are you gonna get 2 characters on your team per player? 1 per person if multiple people join? How’s combat work then? Are you all forced into the same fight if anyone attacks an enemy on the map, or are you forced to fight with your 1-2 characters only?

I used to really enjoy playing this game called “knights chronicle” which was also a single player turn based game. The coop system they had was that you could queue up for a dungeon with 4 other people and select one of your characters to use while being able to see who the other players are bringing. During combat, you would be in control of only what your character does when your turn comes, and it often required strategizing what to do. I think this type of coop could be reasonably feasible to implement in starrail and definitely would make the game feel a lot more community interactive.

@@Kro-RissaVirus My take on it would be the host player would be the only one who could interact with things on the map, but the others would show up as ghosts or holograms. When they get into combat, you would have your characters to control that would be split like Genshin does for multiplayer and you would move on your turns or use your ultimates. It would allow people to show where things are without taking over the gameplay and the multiplayer combat would let you engage in things together to help friends or just have a change of pace. Also, restrict it to where if you could use a "support" character for it, you can't do it in co-op

The special combat challenges are pretty much covered in events, though I wouldn't mind having some permanent gamemode with that premise. On that topic, I would love for another MoC-like mode that is completely divorced from the DPS race that characterized both MoC and Pure Fiction, somehow. Regarding relics, I agree there needs to be a change sooner than later. I like the idea of re-assigning main stat to an existing piece, instead of creating a random piece with our chosen main stat.

My opinion about the relic system, I dont think self-modeling resin needs a rework, but I think that they need to add a new item that influences your relics other than self-modeling resin. For instance, re-rolling substats. Imagine that you got a god-tier relic with crit rate, crit dmg, atk%, (and flat def). And when you level up your relic to the max, it all went to def substat.... It would be really nice if we are able to redo the relic leveling system.

I really think the double drop they usually do at the end of patches should be available every week end. They could rotate what gets the double drop each week if they want to. It's a really common feature in other gacha games I played so idk why star rails labels it as a special event. Also something I think they could add maybe later in the game's life is an additional elevation level that would be only available to characters they would want to buff (Basically the EZA for people that play dokkan). The way I see it in my mind is that on top of getting to level 90 you would be able to raise to lvl 2 major traces and they would include improvements or slight reworks to characters.

In my opinion they should allow us to use the Self Modelling Resin, or a new type of currency, to change the set a Relic or Planar belongs to, while keeping the same Main Stat and Sub Stats, so that way if for example I’m farming for Blade and I find an HP or Wind DMG Orb with double crit stats that belongs to the Belobog Planar set, I could change that to a Salsotto Orb with HP or Wind DMG and double crit stats, so that the Orb doesn’t go to waste

i agree i think auto battle should have presets but i’d have included a max heal mode where your healer heals every turn and your team is made to compensate for that i’ve had a few tumes in simulated universe where i could clear a boss but the auto battle just gets my team killed cause it doesnt heal enough

You listed enabling/disabling ults as a way to customize auto-battles, but we can kinda already do that woth ults, kinda. We can already set it so that they won't use ults during autobattle, although it's turns it on or off for all party members, so it's probably not exactly what you had in mind. 6:26 I personally believe that this is mostly due to the fact that they took Genshin's framework and made a game from that. Instead of making a game from the ground up they had to take existing limitations such as each character having an element skill, burst, passive, etc and fit those into a new genre.

Honkai Impact 3rd is the same and it predates Genshin(provided yes, Honkai has more diverse combo attacks as a hack and slash and the skill depends on the weapon) I think they decided it's simplistic enough for a broader audience to have 3 with a 4th coming every once in a while like in SU.

For me personally 5 had the best turned based gameplay I felt in a long time. So many options to choose from and each character is unique and not restricted to just healing or doing damage. They can be a hybrid of many things.

The biggest change I'd like to see is earning XP for characters from running bout and battling roaming monsters. There's SO much we need to use TBP for, so having characters get XP from battles (even if a small amount) would give us more reason o explore outside of new content release and give us a chance to (slowly) build up characters that would otherwise be looked over because there's more pressing needs for TPB use.

One thing I'd add to the auto battle system is so that you can choose when an ultimate is used. I can't stress enough how many times auto battle used my kafka burst on one enemy that could've been killed with one basic attack, or if we're talking about MoH, the first wave isn't too hard so sometimes if I get ultimates and I'm close to finishing the first wave, I'd rather save them for the upcoming big bosses, but auto battle just uses them. A really easy fix would be add a section of settings dedicated to auto-battle and add settings like these: - How to cast Ultimate during auto-battle: Auto/Manual (already in the game, but it should be expanded) * How many enemies on field to cast Ultimate: 1/2/3/4/5 (this isn't in the game, but should be added) And then add some of the other settings already in the game and maybe some of your sugestions.

Some games allow you to change on what % should you heal when auto. My Jingliu often die from this cause she would have more than half hp then die the next turn cause the enemy did more than half dmg.
