I do hit forearms and one exercise I do that you may want to try is to: attach a rope to the pulley. Lie on your back, head toward the tower, and holding the rope is a neutral position extend your arm straight up. When in that position bend your wrist like you would be holding and using a hammer. Hope I explained that so it makes sense.

In creating my main circuit workout, I thought about something specific for the forearms, and came up with this. I do my tricep extensions tummy up and head up toward the tower, and after finishing this exercise, I just put my forearms vertical and let the cables pull my hand back and flex toward my feet, I use the same incline as my tricep extensions. The motion moves you back and forth on the glide board, but only inches. Good range of motion, and quick switchover in the workout.

I've noticed overtime that just continually using a Total Gym really builds your forearms on their own much more so than traditional weights. Great tips!

Amazing how many forearm exercises you came up with. My forearms are so tiny compared to my upper arms def going to incorporate some of these into my routine. I ordered those handles, can't wait to get them.

I found doing pull ups using a towel wrapped around the wing attachment works the forearms also.

Some great ideas here. Have you tried any cable extension to get a little more range of motion with chest presses? I’ve seen these made with 2 carabiners and a section of strong rope.

Question for you. I’ve been looking online and I can’t find information anywhere. Do you think it’s possible to create a second hole in the Total Gym fit so that you can use it with to wait bars like you can on the XLS?
