I found myself the last couple of days literally watching (well listening, mostly) all your lore and army videos. I was never into the Warhammer universe, but you made me fall in love with it. I have my own theory why the crown doesn't make Azhag go straight back to Nagash. Although it's part of Nagash its pretty clear it has its own independent thought and I suspect it has parts of Nagash's personality. When the crown was with Nagash it was at its most powerful but It was a glorified search engine. Now the Crown has an 'easily' manipulated owner it has far more personal power, and if it has some of Nagash's personality but also free will then it probably prefers (or at least likes it enough to have a detour) calling the shots as opposed to being a slave. Thoughts?

I would wager that Sigmar not putting the damned crown on his head is a direct result of him already having a fancy headpiece, and even humans are not stupid enough to wear a crown on top of a crown.

I think I"m gonna have lots of fun with Azhag in TW. If CA does this properly it could almost be like playing an orc version of Krieg from Borderlands; big dumb brute wanting to kill everything while an intelligent voice constantly berates him for not listening.

adding some metal to their green head leads to funny effects in Orks does it? They start hearing voices, get funny ideas what to do next, develop ambitions, get a motivation to kick even more ass and especially gain tactical knowledge...Ghazkull, Azhag...

I figure the cut off hand of Nagash still possesses a part of Nagash's soul and it doesn't seem to have any desire to return to Nagash. So the animated hand just does whatever an animated hand does and screw around. One of the locations the crown could be tugged towards is Nagash and the other location could be Nagash's hand. So the crown just ends up glitched and it doesn't make any significant advancement towards Nagash.

At first I was thinking "Wow this crown is stupid - it must know that zapping Azhag like that will kill its host who while slow was going to fulfill his will eventually." Then I realized why the crown was more likely actually zapping Azhag. Imagine if you can being a thought in an orcs mind - an utter and total moron who's stubborn and will only listen when he's thoroughly convinced there'll be the best possible fighting and soon. To top it all off Orcs can do magic but they prefer smashing. Imagine holding a nuclear weapon (necromancy magic used properly) but the arm that actually wields it (Azhag) insists that punching the enemy's face is more fun and clearly the better choice. The crown basically willingly doomed itself to an eternity in an underground vault because it just couldn't deal with being connected to such a moronic host for any longer. In a way it gives us some insight on just how unbelievably stupid an Orc must be - that someone would literally rather an eternity of darkness and only their own thoughts rather than being inside their head for a few more days.

What if Grimgurd Ironhide got the Crown?

@Arch Warhammer My name is kaden, fuck warhammer keeps getting better. I knew nothing of warhammer but I got the new total war and now I am just so n love with the lore.

I think it would have been so brilliantly fitting for an Orc if the crown had absolutely no effect on an Orc as it was just outright countered by the sheer stubborn stupidity of the greenskins (except maybe the sneaky night goblins)

Hearing Arch speak in a normal tone of voice is so surreal. Don't get me wrong, I like his stuff - but I can't stand the pretentious rolling of the tongue that he jumps to use every chance he gets. I can't understand why he does it.

Call me wrong, but didnt Sigmar use the crown twice? First after finding it and after some time he became slighlty "unstable". Killing of 90%ish percent of the "Ropsmenn"populace? and later on when faced against Nagash as a precaution against Nagash´s own Magic??
