@@rheysarmiento more likely same time frame.. Nov-December for 2025 models which should have NACS port instead of CCS but they will have adapter included. I'm waiting for US made plus tax credit will make it more affordable
@rheysarmiento they're actually still setting up robots at the plant for it, it's taking longer than they anticipated, man the battery that fit inside the EV9 is freaking huge, but we anticipate starting the test run in the plant around Feb, but the release towards the fall, plus the Telluride is getting ready for a new complete body change as well.
Manually pulling up the 3rd row is really smart of Kia; there's a reduced chance of electric issues which means increased durability and it's also lighter - less is more in this case. Super simple and clean interior and exterior - every bit as nice as the Kia Telluride in terms of styling imo..
That is my absolute fave color... such a rugged and handsome vehicle. Love the wheels as well - futuristic and functional. 19" wheels are great and I think you'll appreciate it's not 20" when it's time to change them over and also with the more plush ride for you, the family and the kiddos. STUNNING vehicle. Envious but happy for you.
I was actually very impressed with the sound system even though it’s not the premium one found in the GT line. I’m a musician also so take my word for it 😂
@mattscinto wow! Very cool-- really glad that KIA put in a solid stereo with the Wind trim! Will have a to go for a test drive when there's one available! Thanks! Also, regarding HDA2, does it keep the EV9 in the center of the lane confidently-- even in curves on the freeway? I'm trying to figure out if it is worth it to upgrade to a KIA with HDA2 or stay with HDA1.
Loving my EV9 smooth driving and comfortable. Paid 7500 less and 2500 from dealership and less 500 military discount from MSRP and paid cash, the warranty will go along way for 10 yrs battery and no gas and less maintenance. Bought Tesla last yr paid cash no discount even for military.
i wish they have Wind Tech package tho like Ev6... that 360 blind spot camera is a must have especially for a big SUV like this... they should have made it standard with this expensive pricing.. I will wait for 2025/US made model though to get that 7500 credit.
I got to say I like the matte black trim vs that gloss black trim around the base of the EV9. I can only imagine the scratches on that glossy trim after the first year.
@@DeepDishPizza Not scared just an observation. Nothing wrong with wanting your car to look good for a while. I drive off pavement sometimes so it matters to me.
@@SVUE-jj9jc it’s time for good old fashioned Doxxing. Remember, you had to run your mouth and did this to yourself. Good luck with your credit scores and give my love to China when they get your info. Take care 🤪
Nice review! MYP owner here and my wife wants a 7 seat EV so we are looking at this. How is the acceleration? Do you use the same Tesla charger with an adapter?
It’s definitely not as fast as my model S, but it’s nearly 400 hp and 0-60 in about 5 seconds and you can buy a performance upgrade. I think it’s very good.
It looks great my brother! I think it's great the best electric car right now. But Acura is going to have one bigger for 40k with self driving features.....
I've seen multiple values for each trim option, especially for the Line. Wind-AWD: 5.7sec; Line w/boost: 4.5. I.e. the Wind can do ~6sec and the Line can do ~5sec. I just checked Kia's website, and drilled down to finally find a "Full Specification" page and clicked on another drop-down to find out that the Boost function is available for the Wind trim and (I bet it is related to the tire size among other things, physics and all) Kia quotes the 0-60 time on a Wind w/Boost can do 0-60 in 5.0 seconds. Dang, I'm good:)
@@mattscinto well real world driving it’s definitely not 300 it’s less, and If your on the road as much as me every bit of range counts . Short distance and a daily might be cool but I don’t buy a car to only to do local driving I buy it so I can drive it and not have to be stuck at home always charging. I love the car but Kia need to step it up when it comes to better range especially if they selling these premium vehicles at premium prices
Yeah….Kia can’t give these away in SoCal. Take a look at the inventory in SD. Quite sad that you overpaid by 10k+ once Kia starts its fire sale on these over the next 2-3 months…

Hardly no plastic at all? Seems like it's plastic all the way from under the navigation screen all the way to the armrest, that's just in the 2 seconds you were in the vehicle
