Great video ... 1. When the guy on native said "lots & lots of dignitaries here" at 2:05 , he meant "lots & lots of Nigerian thieves" 😄😄... 2. Situating the generator that close to the "security" house is not a good idea for me 2:52. Exposes the security personnel(s) to too much humming background noise which attackers can use as a leverage. 3. The outside trees being too tall and way too close to the house 2:58 will definitely undermine the security of the house (with the present security situation in Nigeria) in case of an attack. Attackers would have been too close to the rear fence before they are even noticed to be repelled. The trees would give them the much needed cover they need. 4. I could not spot any CCTV for surveillance (maybe it is present but I did not notice it or it is still being set up). 5. Great job with the bulletproof (if true) entrance door 4:07. 6. No greenery. 7. I could also not spot any fire extinguisher or sprinkler system (maybe they are still being processed like the fire alarm 11:50). I believe that a $1.3m property should have all of these included.

Thank you so much for this. This is a bullcrap design for any schooled and tutored eyes this nothing but a gilded cage. #800,000,000 for this? Walled in , no greens... I'm tired of Naija Architecture-- largely utilitarian but less Aesthetic

You might be right, but you might also be wrong. The only way to find out is to try it out for yourself. Buhari has made everything, including building materials, very expensive and, from the look of this building, it seems most of the materials used were imported. Then factor in the cost of land in Abuja. Of course, builders go collect their own from inside.

This is a ugly ass House. It's not modern at all, it's just a mixture of a basic building with ancient Greek/Roman columns to make it seem grandeur. More so, as Nigerians we should also focus on garden architecture. A house or a building can never be complete, unless the outside area is also well designed. That's means more greenery, trees, flowers, plants, lighting systems, masonry etc. Omo, this one na higgy hagga........ Anywho, Steven you are just doing your job. I appreciate your content and your efforts bro.

Not all. But I must admit real estate in Abuja is zero. It’s better you build your own house than to buy it. But the other states are trying.

Beautiful house, I wish it was built in an area that is fully developed with neighbors all over the place. The greens can easily be modified. I rather build this house using rammed earth, to make the house cool all year round!!! If I have the money to buy this house, I rather build mine to my own specifications!!!

Thank you for posting this gorgeous big mansion house in Abuja. Much appreciated. I do have a question. Does these houses in Abuja comes with an annual property tax to be paid seperately to the City's Government? Asking, because you may know in certain G7 Countries, when an owner buys a house or mortgages a house, that house being owned or mortgaged comes seperately with an annual property tax to be paid to the City's Government. God bless...
