When you work for big companies they do run you to the ground. Now that i work for myself i always make sure to take my time off. Its very important to have a good balance in work and personal time. Work to live, dont just live to work!
Trying to do the most that I can with the time I operate, hard starting a business barely 2 years in during this covid crap and relocated the business and family. That's why I don't operate sundays and mondays.
Good video, glad to see you talking about this, I just wanted to ask you and others, what do people who own towing companies struggle the most with, in terms of their company? Is it lack of customers or something specific? Thanks for reply.👍
Man when I worked for AAA, they didn't believe in time off. I remember times where I worked 12-15 days straight 12-18 hour days. The trainer I had at the time literally had me working an 18 hour shift with no time to eat or anything. They wanted me in that truck non stop running calls. Even on my off days, they wanted me working. It became too much. You're right, I don't listen to these guys who tell me that I gotta keep running and gotta eat off the back of the truck. Thankfully I'm with a better company now that understands self care.
If tiure really gangsta boy your health you join la fitness or even planet fitness with the all locations pass . You peel off 80 min a day no matter what and you get to the closest gym you can in whatever area during what tends to be your slowest period . For me it’s after morning rush or afternoon. Get it in excuses sitting all day wrecks you from head to toe

Depends on the area your in and the work you plan to do. For just vehicles, yes if your a good operator and skilled with your equipment. If you haul equipment, Ag, containers, etc. Then you'll make more with the rollback
@@teamwork84 be mindful when working on centeral dispatch all tires have to be off the ground in most cases. Not all... but typically have to be on a bed or trailer. Sometimes customers and brokers aren't picky. Just something to keep in mind.
