**The Electrify America problem was likely caused by my truck's charge limit, not an EA problem.
Join me on this time-robbing trip of slowish charging while towing.

I don’t use plug n charge because I want the pass discount. Next time try to swipe to start charge in the app first and wait for the charge station screen to prompt you to plug in. That usually for the issue I saw you have at the first EA station.

I didn't know that, I always thought I should plug in first because that's of the screen says but I'll try this as well Also, someone else pointed out that my max charge sitting may have been interfering with this charging attempt so not the fault of EA sounds like

How did you get to 90% when your charge limit was 80%? Did you have the charge limit set to 100% and then it reset itself to 80%? Helps that it was such a light load I am sure - my empty trailers are heavier than that whole load.

I set a one time charge limit the night before I left to 100% so I could leave with a full battery. So when I left my neighborhood it was at 100% and I just planned on doing it quick top up at EA on my way out of town while I went to the bank but forgot 90% was my usual limit.

Looks like you were at 90% state of charge. Did someone forget to increase the max charge limit to 100%?

I see you haven't done the dash mat recall...

Correct. In two days I'm getting the dash mat, tail light and bms sensor

@@MindofMatter I suspect your charging issue at the EA charger was because your truck is set to stop charging at 90%. You can change that on the screen in the truck and/or ford app.

High Speed chargers should only be used up to 80% and not full... The charging curve drops to the point it isn't smart to charge. Also if you're taking a charger to get over 80% you're taking a stall from someone who needs to actually charge

You mean the early EA charge? Yeah I generally agree with you but I was not leaving the truck unattended longer than the walk to the adjacent bank.

For us--- it would be a charging desert and a dangerous plan trying this from our home to San Francisco. I would require a body guard to guard my tools.
