Good catch! He really chewed up the scenery in that movie. But he did steal every scene he was in. Not fer nuthin,' but he was the best mayor Detroit has ever had, in fiction or reality.

I didn't know Tim Robbins had to break out of a goofy drunk stereotype. I don't think I ever saw him in anything before Shawshank, so as far as I knew, he's always been good. I feel like my whole life is a lie now.

A lot of actors start out doing movies and TV shows without being noticed. Harrison Ford started out in bit parts and even as an extra in movies. I heard that Robert De Niro started doing "Troma" movies, the same people who brought us Toxic Avenger and such.

I used to work with a dude who knew Tracy Scoggins growing up. He would tell funny stories about them in high school. Finally got to meet her at a convention and yeah, she confirmed they were besties back in the day. She was SUPER nice and even gave me a free autograph.

i remember watching a Slasher film that used a bunch of day for night footage . It was obvious that it was day for night. You could see girls sunbathing out in front of one of the buildings when it suppose to be the middle of the night.

I actually have seen this, a long time ago. You’re right ...it’s wacky & all over the place, but weirdly somehow watchable. Hell Tracy Scoggins was in this , she could have used her connections & called in the A- Team.

The 'mortis' but comes from a game called Faith by New Blood interactive, and tickled me even before it clicked that the guy was from The Exorcist. Cecil cuts deep with his references and using the Faith bit was a top choice.

It's kind of weird to see a serious actor like Jason Miller in a film like this. It's sad that his roll in Exorcist 3 was cut down because by that time he'd suffered from "Wet Brain" do to extreme alcoholism and couldn't remember his lines. RIP.

So, I'm not the only one who remembers this. Dad had it on VHS that he taped off of Cinemax, and I've tried to find it, only to keep coming across the 1991 one. Now that I have a year, 1984, was able to find it online. Thank you so very much for the help.

This title kinda sounds like a spin off of the movie Small Soldiers lol For a low budget film, its surprising to see some familiar faces here! I love it! I never ever herd of this film I grew up with the 1991 "Toy Soldiers" film which to me is the better film compared to this one at least to me Cecil. I look forward to see you do a "Exploring" episode on that film someday? Awesome job as always!
